it was a rainy day, most people have their own house, have money, have a place where they could stay, but that wasn't Phil's case.
Phil was homeless, he had studied medicine but due to the economy he couldn't finish his studies, his parents had died in a car crash and their house is property of the government now.
Phil had no hope, he had lost his parents and had no home, no studies, nothing.
He had to cover himself from the rain with a cardboard, which wasn't big enough.
He takes care of himself, it's hard in his situation, but he hasn't stopped, he washes himself in the public bathrooms at night, he once found a pair of scissors in the street so that's what he uses to "shave" and cut his hair.
Since he's a very friendly person and he doesn't look that much of a homeless man, he has a friend who's owner of a little restaurant, she gives him free food, she knows about his situation and how young he is to be suffering that.
He might take care of himself and have free food, but he didn't feel complete, he needed someone to love, he needed a light in his life, a pain-killer for all his suffering.
And there he was, a tall man, around Phil's age, he saw Phil covering himself with a cardboard and saw how beautiful he was, no matter if he was homeless, he still looked good.
Dan saw him when he was having lunch at the restaurant of Phil's friend, he asked about him and she told him everything, Dan was shocked, he knew Phil needed someone.
And then, out of the sudden, Phil was under an umbrella, he saw the friendly man's smile and he knew, he has found the pain-killer for all his suffering.
