Mini chapter : Med bay

Darkness and bright light was the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes from that horrid attack today

Dear Jikoshi. my ears are ringing as loud as the dragon screeching earlier

I flutter my eyes a bit more and what I saw was a small chandelier and a white tiled ceiling

I continue to look around the room but I heard something click

It was the medbay's door

I sit up to who was the door and It was the Sergeant who was behind the door

" ah. You're finally awake. "
he says calmly

We glance at each other and I saw something behind his back

" What's that behind you? "
I ask curiously

He stays silent for a moment and he comes closer to the bed I was staying in

As he was close enough to me, he hands me a small white box tied with a baby blue ribbon

I place it on my lap as I watched the Sergeant take a seat on the nearby chair

I return back to the present and I untie it to see what kind of present was inside

I take off the top and I look down to see a a wax-stamped letter on top of a long and thick white scarf

I take out the letter and I look for the messenger's name

' From : Oliver White '

I smile lightly, as I open the letter to see what was the contents of it and It said

' My Little Honey-toad♡

I am very happy to hear that you've got accepted into your dream occupation, Please remember to work as hard as you can. But never forget to take a break, ok? I wouldn't want you over-loading yourself with work again

And p.s, I'm very eager to see what kind of suprise you have for me

I brightly gleam at the letter but I soon remembered that I was in the presence of a person within the room

I soon hid my face in slight embarrassment but the Sergeant just chuckles lightly

" It's fine kid. "

I remove my hands from my red face and I put the letter on the end table and I land my attention back to the present

I take out the scarf and it looked quite soft like a lamb's fleece from my first glance, and it even smelled good despite its long trip here

I smile softly and I put the present onto the end table near the Sergeant as I hear the door creaking open once again

" Oh darling, you're finally awake "
a feminine and delicate voice rang through the room

The Sergeant stood up and straightened his manner

" And you look better all ready~! "
It was the Lieutenant, Lieutenant Mamaryle to be specific

She was the Head of the Medics

" And you're here already, Sergeant? "
She asks the sergeant curiously as she closes the door behind

" Yes, ma'am. I'm just here for a moment though. "
He excuses himself

" Alright then, Ms.White? "
She turns to the bed where I'm staying in

" Yes, ma'am? "

" Your status right now is in its best and healthy shape"

I smile happily and I sit up from the bed

" but the problem is that you're not allowed to do any knighting work or practice "
