Chapter five : the Owl Prince

' Dear Father

I'm sorry that this letter took so long to write, but I promise that I didn't forget to do it! But guess what? I got in!! I hope your proud of me♡ '

As I continued to write the letter, I suddenly remembered something important

My newly discovered power...

Should I write about it to him? Perhaps I should. Maybe I shouldn't do it this quickly

I hear my room's door open widely

" Hey Ophelia! our break is almost over, we should get back to our tasks "

It was Ean, the man I met a week ago who soon turned to a friend after knowing him a few days

but anyways

I look at the wall clock and it's already 11:47 am

" Oh, Thanks Ean. I'll be out in a moment ok? "

He gives me a thumbs up and shuts the door

I sigh to myself and I look back at the paper

Maybe I can show it him whenever I visit

' and P.S, I have a Suprise to show you when I get home~! '

I smile to myself

I start to fold up my paper and put it inside the envelope my father gave me, I take one of the stamps from the drawer and added the address on the envelope

I stand up from the small desk and walked to the opened window

The letter started to sprout its wings, they looked quite fluffy and stable enough to fly

It started to fly out of my hands and I let go

It was flying out of the room through the window to go to its designated home

" Safe travels, Little letter "
I mumble to myself

Well, better get on with my tasks

I put on my boots and plop my sword into my holster

I leave the room and start walking to my next task, I see Ean walking by

" Oh Ean, are you heading to your next task too? "
I call out to him

" Yeah I am actually "
He smiles to me and I smile back

He head to our designated task and we got the same task

Our task for the day was to just gaurd the  Prince's bedroom, sounds easy right? It's just standing there and making sure no bad guy gets in

As we stood there in silence, we suddenly heard several footsteps in the distance

I wondered for a moment if that was the rumored prince

The footsteps gotten closer and closer till we saw two people

It was the prince and another man?
