We were on the couch and we were watching SpongeBob but I heard dad walk in.
"Guys listen up I got a surprise"
I looked at the dad but the others eyes were glued to the screen.
"Hello?"
Dad then switched the TV off making them turn to dad.
"Guys we got a big surprise!"
"A surprise?another pony?"
"Trampoline?"
"You leaving?"
"Not quite, okay?but,no,we got something better than that,okay?"
"So much better it's gonna be great"
"Guys,this year,no more back and forth at Christmas"
"We're not doing the back and forth"
"Nope,I just said that"
"No more back and forth at Christmas"

"This year, we're gonna spend one Christmas all together,all of us!"
"Yay!"
I smiled
"All of us a together Christmas!"

"I'll get it"
I said getting up and walked over to the phone and I picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Y/n is that you!?"
"Grandpa Kurt!"

"Hey there kid can you please pass the phone to your dad"
"Sure,dad grandpa Kurt wants to talk to you"
"No,no,no dusty I'll just tell him"
"No it's okay,Sara,thank you"
I then gave dad the phone
"Thanks sweetie"
I nodded then sat down on the couch
"What,dad? yeah,long time,no I'm fine tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow"
"No"
"Grandpa's coming tomorrow?"
I asked mom clearly excited
