With You || Carl Grimes x Reader

(This chapter will be a small rundown of what you'll see in the fanfic, such as abbreviations, information about yourself, and so on)

To start, this fanfic will integrate into the storyline of The Walking Dead in the fourth chapter of the story (not including this chapter), as the first three chapters will be a bit of an introduction to your life before meeting Rick Grimes. The story itself will start in the first season, on the first episode. This means that your age will be eleven (11), and Carl's age will match yours.

To make it clear, there will be no smut in any of the chapters in this story.
(Even if the story has the smut tab, I probably accidentally clicked it.)

Now to focus on abbreviations. Instead of using (Y/N), I've found an alternative that's pretty easy to understand.

[Name] = Your name
[Eye Color] = Your eye color
[Hair Color] = Your hair color
[Height] = Your height

The last one is just an example, and won't be used, but it's what you'll come across in chapters.

Next, I'll give you a quick rundown of you and your character's role in the story. As a little side note, at the time I'm writing this, the story is not done and is still in the making. So, this explanation might differ from when I'm done with the story. Along with this, the one personal thing that will be changed is your last name, and in doing this, I hope to use this in later chapters.

Now to give you a preview of your life before the outbreak:

You are the daughter of Cassie and Elijah Maxwell and older the sister of Olivia Maxwell. Your father worked as a logistician, and your mother was studying to become a hospital pharmacist before dropping out of collage once she found out she was pregnant with your sister.
