Your heartbeat increased as you spoke, looking at Morgan as his expression changed quickly. It switched from disbelief to shock, while Rick turned to you in confusion. Rick opened his mouth to speak before Morgan cut him off quickly.

"What do you mean go with him? You don't even know how to shoot a gun, let alone kill a walker." Morgan stated, turning his head towards you as Rick's words died in his throat.

"I know that, but I don't want to wait a couple of days till we make a move to Atlanta. I want to go with Rick to have a better, and quicker, possibility of finding my family." You argued, almost pleaded. You didn't want to fight with Morgan on the subject, and even tho he had shown you hospitality, you wanted to start looking for your sister and mother.

"I won't allow it [Name], it'd be too dangerous for you, and you'd slow down Rick in finding his own family." Morgan quipped, and your eyes slightly at his words.

"Morgan, I get that you're trying to look out for me, but I want to go with Rick. If he allows it, then you can't stop me." You said with vigor, your voice raising a bit as you looked to Rick for help.

"You are not going, end. Of. Discussion." Morgan said, turning away to make his way toward his Jeep.

"Morgan, you're not going to tell me what to do. I understand that you've shown me hospitality, and I'm thankful for that, but you're not about to prevent me from finding a better route to my family." You swiftly replied, losing your patience with the man.

"And what if you die, better yet, what if you get both you and Rick killed!?" Morgan yelled as he turned back to you. This gained Duane's attention as he slowly moved toward the three of you.

"Then I'll die! Morgan, I'm not your child, and it'll always be that way. I'm going to Atlanta with Rick, and that's his decision, not yours." You finished, not allowing Morgan to bite back before turning to Rick and looking at him with the best pleading look you could give.

".....I don't see the problem with it, Morgan. We both have the same goal, and it wouldn't hurt to have some company on the road." Rick argued with an even voice, and Morgan looked at Rick with a pissed-off expression before Duane popped into the dispute.

"[Name], your going with Rick?" He asked in confusion, looking at his father before looking at you. You could see Morgan's expression start to fall, knowing he wouldn't be able to prevent you from doing this as long as Rick was okay with this.

"Yes." You state, breathing a bit heavier as you look at Morgan. He breath was shaky, and Duane's expression fell at your words. You didn't know what to say to make them feel any less upset. Morgan had comforted you and stepped in as a parent when you had none, and Duane was there to keep you company and relate to you on your level, but you needed to find your real family.

You stepped towards Morgan and hugged him tightly, feeling his arms wrap around you as Diane put a hand on your shoulder. You heard Morgan let out a heavy sigh before letting go, placing a hand on your shoulders and squeezing them gently.

"Just be careful...please..." He muttered, and Duane came to you to give you an awkward side hug, making you laugh lightly. You heard Rick open a car door from behind you and you all turned to look at him.

He approached you three with a radio in his hands, giving it to Morgan. "You have one battery." He said with a bit of a sigh, making Morgan chuckle. "I'll turn mine on a few minutes every day at dawn, you get up there, that's how you find us." He said, explaining his plan.
