New life

I bought some clothes, food, and rented a hotel room. I got a part time job at this cafe and I even got myself an ultrasound tomorrow.

It's been around 2 weeks since I left Loki and I still kinda regret it but at the same time I feel better. He was kinda manipulative and scary but in a good way... I think.

The more I think about him the more I realize how many red flags he has.

I shook my head and continued making a caramel Latte.

I handed it to the customer before my shift ended, I took a cab to the doctors office and walked in.

"I'm here for Dr Ellis" I said at the desk. She nodded while I filled out paperwork.

When I got called to the room they put gel on my stomach, he put the white thangy on me.

"Nice healthy baby, that's their head" He pointed and I smiled widely.

His eyes burrowed and I could tell something was wrong "what's wrong?" I asked a little concerned "nothing... it's just that your baby has kind of a shadow around itself. But don't worry it might just be the quality" he wiped the gel off and I took a deep breath.

"In the next three weeks we should know it's gender" He smiled at me before I went to the desk and paid the $199 bill. I didn't have insurance so I needed to be careful with my spendings and all of that.

So far I've estimated that the birth should cost round $19,200. But it'll just go up by the time I hit the third trimester.

I need to make 25k before February of next year when my baby is due.

I called the bank yesterday and I got a new credit card and a debit card with the money my family had left me and the money I've earned.
I rented an apartment room and moved stuff in.

I'm 20 weeks into the pregnancy and it's been going good, I've had some of those psychic visions and my stomach would get in pain but other than that the baby is fine.

I got the ultrasound pictures and it showed that shadow around the baby, it almost looked like a snake slithering over my baby. It also looked like a birds wing protecting him.

Today I'm going back to Dr Ellis and he's seeing the gender.

"Hello again Y/n" he smiled at me. I smiled back and laid down, he massaged my stomach a little before putting the gel on. "Very healthy baby like usual" I let out a sigh of relief.

"And as predicted the gender is showing! Do you want to know or do you have a special someone you want to share it with?" He looked at me with a huge smile.

"Does it cost more money if you tell me the gender?" I looked at him, he looked down "no, it doesn't cost more" he gave me a sad smile "I don't have a special someone anymore- well he's special to me,.. but we just couldn't be together. It's not good for the baby"

My eyes got watery as I looked up. "It's a boy" he slightly said. I smiled widely as a few tears went down my cheeks. "I knew it" I laughed a little wiping the tears away.

After the appointment I went to my apartment, I put the ultrasounds on my counter to put it on the fridge, I went to change into better clothes and grab some food.

When I got back to the kitchen a blonde lady was standing in the kitchen "having a boy Hyde? Boy hydes are extremely rare" She smiled at me "who are you and how did you get in here" I grabbed the closest thing to me— a wooden spoon.

"Don't worry. I'm not here to hurt you, actually I'm on your side. I'm a wolf Hyde, and you're in love with our enemy. A frost giant" she went up to me.

"It was an accident- I didn't know we were enemies until we loved each other" I got a lump in my throat.

"We know... you didn't even know you were a Hyde until you were in love... your mom was wrong for hiding that secret from you" she touched my stomach but I moved her hand.

"Don't worry Y/n we're all family here. You're my cousin" I sighed and let her touch my stomach. She smiled "I'm Lilian by the way" she backed away.

"The Hyde's are on your side and we want to keep you safe, some Hyde's are against you for what the frost giants did to our ancestors but we understand. The frost giants want your baby, he's very special" she looked at me from my stomach.

"I may be a wolf Hyde but I'm also the queens niece, I don't follow the other Wolves, I follow my aunt because she has better intentions and accepts me. I have no intention of hurting anyone" I smiled at my cousin feeling a little bit safer.

"But everyone will want the boy, they will kill you and carve the baby out" she told me the honest truth.

I put my hands on my bump before gulping.

I sat on the couch before I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, I winced and put a hand on my stomach before moaning.

I stood up but fell right back down, I felt liquid go down my legs before I heard more chains.

"It will be mine" the human form of that frost giant walked over to me and grabbed my jaw. "You think leaving Loki with save you? You were born to die!" He looked at my stomach and I felt another sharp pain.

He smirked before I felt chains on my wrists, I screamed as I felt the baby being pulled out of me. I felt the babys Herat leave my chest, I could see it in the frost giants hand.

I closed my eyes and sobbed before I heard slight cawing "this isn't real this isn't real this isn't real" I kept repeating.

I gasped for air before being able to stand up, Blood was rushing past my shorts and down my socks.

I screamed in pain as I felt pain. Someone knocked on my door aggressively, I sobbed and walked over there. I didn't make it, It hurt too much to even walk.

I felt the baby being ripped out of me and it literally felt like I was dying.

I got to the door and fell into the man's arms, he grabbed my arm and helped me stand up straight "something's wrong with my baby" I yelled in pain and put a hand in my stomach.

He saw the blood and picked me up, I knew he was my Neighbor Colton. We've been getting close, he works at sunview cafe as well and is almost my bestie.

He put me in his car "I'm going to get your car bloody" I said before a few tears escaped my eyes. "It's ok. I'm more worried about you and your baby" he sped me to the hospital.

Colton took me out of the car and into the hospital "help!" He yelled to the doctors, someone brought over a gurney and put me on.

"Ma'am how far along are you"  doctor asked after Having Colton sit in a chair. "21 weeks" I mumbled before screaming in pain.

I saw a kick and the doctors did too "this isn't a miscarriage" A doctor stated "what? My baby's going to die?!" I asked a little terrified.

"No no no, Ma'am please calm down. You're baby isn't dead" A nurse put an oxygen mask on me.

"How long have you been bleeding?" A surgeon asked me "about ten minutes" I whispered as everything was getting foggy.

"Her names Y/n l/n, B-neg, 21, and recently found after being kidnapped" I heard a nurse state.

"Save my baby boy... please" I grabbed onto a doctors arm.

"Don't save me, save him" I said before my vitals skyrocketed and everything went black.
