Chapter one

"Hey sweetie I'm home." Williams' mother Julia said. "Oh hey, mom, can I have a friend over tomorrow?" William said. " Sorry sweetie, remember tomorrow is your 18th birthday we have to go out of town to the coven so you can be initiated and show them how powerful you are. You have been waiting for this day for 5 years since you started studying!" Julia said while William was sitting at the table giving her a frown.

William is 17, almost 18 and he is a witch/wizard. He is 6'1 and muscular. He has golden blonde hair, and light blue eyes. He still hasn't told his mom he is gay he is afraid to tell her because he's not sure how she will react and he is waiting until he is 18 to tell her in case, he needs to defend himself. witches cannot use their powers until they are 18 and his birthday is tomorrow. he is sad he can't spend time with his friends, his friends are all witches except Jacob Fanner and Max his best friend and boyfriend they are both werewolf's Jacob is his best friend and Max is his boyfriend. Max and William have been together for 2 years.

" I know but I want to spend my time with my friends since they will not be there. Well at least not all of them and you know how much Jacob and Max hate missing my birthday." William Said. " I know but you will still be able to spend time with them after the coven ranks you by power level." William Let up when his mom said that. " Ok mom but you promise I can spend time with them, and you will not bug me?" William Said with a stern look on his face" Ok fine I promise, ok?" Julia said, trying to hold back a laugh " yes mom, and thank you" for what?'' '' for helping me study and helping me memorize every spell in the book so I can blow the roof off the place tomorrow," William said. " I hope you don't mean that literally." Julia said." Well, just wait and see!" William said not able to hold in his laugh. and his mother trying to hold in her laugh.

"Ok eat up you have a big day tomorrow after you eat go straight to bed," Julia said, handing him a plate of shrimp scampi. Williams' face lit up " you didn't have to cook this just because it's my favorite". "Well, it's your birthday tomorrow and like you said that's your favorite.". So, William ate while looking through his Instagram looking at pictures of him and his friends from when they went to Greece and France for the summer. School does not start for another two weeks so they are going to go to Mexico as a present from Max, just him, me, and Jacob as a boyfriend/best friend trip. I finished eating and went to bed, falling asleep almost instantly.

I woke up to someone kissing me on the lips then on the forehead. " Hey babe, wake up, your mom is downstairs waiting for you" Max said. " How did you get in here?"" ''What do you mean I told your mom that I was going to wake your ass up before you were late now come on get up" Max said, whining while I had a pillow over my head." late for what? What will I be late for?" William Said Trying to hold back his surprise "you seriously don't remember your own birthday?" "What? oh shit I totally forgot that it was today I just want to stay in bed with you all day. I really don't want to go to the coven today." William said, trying to pull Max into the bed with him. " Come on get up lazy, your mom said you have to leave for the coven in an hour." "Ok fine but you owe me tonight remember I am 18 now." William said grinning.

"William, Max. Jacob is here!" Julia said and both boys ran down stars and tackled Jacob into a hug. " Dang slow down guys, happy birthday William, I have a present for you." Jacob showed William a new guitar. " OH MY GOD YOU DID NOT" William grabbed the guitar and sat it down and tackled him in a tight hug. "Thank you thank you THANK YOU" " your welcome I know that your old one broke, so I went and got you a new one hope you don't mind" Jacob said Smiling. "MIND I do not mind at all thank you so much I wanted another one so much" William Said giving Jacob another hug. " So, we will see you all later. We have to go to the coven so William can get initiated." Julia said hugging Max and Jacob goodbye.
