Chapter 3

'RING! RING! RRR-ING!'

I sat up on my bed. I stopped the alarm. It was Monday. The start of a new week.

I hate Mondays. I wake up early, work all day until dusk, and today I have to cover Ally's shift.

I walked into my bathroom and stared into the mirror. My dark-red hair had piled on top of my head, and eye-bags had circled my eyes.

I took a nice, warm shower and wore my pink button-up shirt with my jeans.

I took out my phone. '6:30', it said. So, 20 minutes before I leave. Time to read the next update on Wattpad!

I took my laptop from my bed, sit on my desk and log onto Wattpad. I read the next update on my favourite book, 'Hush, Howl' and by then it was '6:46'.

I logged off, slipped on my snow boots, grabbed my bag and headed out the door.
