This school week was really kicking your ass. Every time you got up you felt groggier than usual, your feet clinging like weights to the mattress. It's not laziness it's pure fucking exhaustion. From going to class, doing homework or studying, then patrolling, all week. A break is needed now more than ever. You spent your school day thinking of anything but school to alleviate your brain. Wondering what Shindo is doing at the moment. You thought you knew his schedule like the back of your hand but these past few weeks it's been hard for the two of you to communicate. You'll usually call him at your usual time when he has a long break from class but lately he's been letting it ring to voicemail sending you a text right after stating, I'll call you back. Not to mention he's doing a million things at once so of course he never does. Your calls resorted to only talking at night and by then he's completely out of it like you are after dealing with the patrol. By then, there's no point in talking, it's just a little game of who can fall asleep first. Lastly, an honorable mention of how he was supposed to come to visit you last weekend but unfortunately had to cancel last minute due to some hero stuff. You were pissed rightfully so.

You tried your best to voice your feelings about him being so distant all of a sudden without causing an argument but being the average couple you are, it did. Long distance has never been a problem for you two before, your relationship spent its first couple of months like that after all so it's something you both are used to. Yeah, things come up last minute dealing with college and hero work but you find it hard to believe he's that busy that he can't even make a lousy ass phone call. He's found the opportunities to make time for you before so where did things change so unexpectedly? In the end, Shindo was extremely apologetic about being distant. You told him he's lucky you two are on the same career path so you have no choice but to understand and you truly do get it, it's just you miss him that's all.

While holding up a reputation of being the number one university in the country for upcoming heroes, UA also upholds being the top party school. Along with being the top party school comes students from other campuses to enjoy the festivities too, which makes it a perfect opportunity for Shindo to visit this weekend. Though it's a little later in the year than the past ones, all the hard work and preparation has paid off for the annual homecoming.

Already mentally in weekend mode, you're glad you did the basic college necessities like cleaning your room, laundry, assignments, etcetera. All while making a bit of space to accompany Shindo before he comes. You sit in the lounge with the girls to pass the time. The three of you talk here and there, mainly just looking at the vertical screen swiping from app to app. "Oh shit! I forgot to tell you guys!" Mina exclaims jumping up. You and Momo look up at her waiting for her to say what suddenly came to mind. "Whats tea?" You ask fully interested. "Being around the guys earlier today I heard some wild shit. So they were talking about people they've hooked up with and at first, I wasn't paying attention because I already knew all that stuff but then things got interesting when Bakugou started talking." Your skin gets an itchy, tingling sensation from the sudden mention of 'Bakugou' and 'Hooking up' in the same sentence since both included you at some point. You purposely don't say anything, paranoid that if you ask questions it might come off as pushy and give yourself away. Luckily Momo does instead.
