Prologue - Bullseye!

I've finally cornered them, yet I can't bring myself to do anything. My body is stopped. Why do I feel like this?..
They stared at me with tears in their eyes, stepping back. I wasn't sure why. Maybe they are scared? I don't think I'm that scary. I'm just a regular object following orders. There's nothing wrong with that, is there?
Their name was... I think it was... I-I don't remember.. It starts with an L, right? No, no.. that's wrong. I don't understand what I should be doing. how could I forget her orders!? If I don't do this, then *she* will get angry, and if *she gets angry! oh no no no.. I shuddered as I thought about it. I stared at the object in front of me, and I pitched my arm forward...

—- Test Tube's POV
I sat up from my lab chair. gosh, did I fall asleep here? I probably got wrapped up in testing and fell asleep while writing in my journal, yes. I have a journal. Every scientist should record their work! I looked at the pencil on the ground and looked back at the glass container that held a purple bug in it, I was trying to figure out the capabilities of this bug, and nobody else at the hotel knew about it. Ah! Right, I had other things to do besides explaining my work to nobody. I got up from my chair and left my lab.

—- Test Tube's POV
As I walked toward the hotel to get breakfast, a bright light flashed in my face and I flinched, "Woah! Didn't mean to scare you there.." Lightbulb said while glancing between me, the hotel, and the forest. "Anyways, I just made some breakfast, but I also saw a glowing light come from the forest. Since you're a scientist... I thought you would know what caused it!" She explained while bouncing around the grass. I sighed, "I'll figure out what it is after breakfast, alright?" I said, walking past LB, "Aww, I thought you would be able to tell me now!" LB said, clearly disappointed. "Lightbulb, I have to eat too. Also, please don't try and investigate it yourself." I stated. I quickly went off to eat breakfast, leaving Lightbulb behind me.

—- Test Tube's POV
After breakfast, I found Lightbulb while they were playing with daisies. I don't really question what they do anymore. I told them that I would check out the forest, and they were excited and told me to tell them what happened after. I walked to the forest and peeked through the trees, nothing out of the ordinary. I sighed and walked inside the forest and looked around, trying to figure out what LB was talking about. As I wandered through the forest, I heard a rustle in the bushes. It was probably just a wild animal, yet I decided to look behind the bush. As I tried to creep around it, my body compelled me not to, and stepped away, like some sort of force pushing me away. I decided to leave it alone and turned behind me.

—- Test Tube's POV
"AH!" I shrieked, what just happened...? I felt a sharp pain in my eye, the green liquid inside of me spilling out. I stumbled back and tripped, hitting a rock as I fell, almost shattering me completely.

"Woah! Haha... Bullseye!"
