I looked up.
"I'll get it," I said, getting up.
I opened the door to this girl I kinda liked, so I said hi. Her name is Joy.

"Uh excuse me," she quietly says rather than answer my question.

"Oh sorry!"

I quickly push myself to the side, allowing her to go through. I couldn't help but blush. She was...cute. But I'm so scared to say hi. I don't know why.
I then went to my seat. I could help but stare at her. I kinda had a crush on her since 4th grade. I just loved to look at what she's doing. I watched her as she took off her black bookbag. Her shirt accidently slips with the bookbag which causes her bra strap to show a bit.

Oh my god!

I quickly turn away. Out of curiosity I turned back around and watched Joy putting on some lip gloss.

Oh my days... If only I could touch her...lips.

Many people think Joy came from a poor family and she doesn't shower. There are even some rumors that she...cuts herself and brings her dildo to school and uses it in the bathroom. But I refuse to think it's true. It's not true at ALL. I know that girl is sweet and innocent and doesn't do that stuff.
I would do anything just to say hi to her. Sometimes maybe I hope we can be friends.

"Mari! Earth to Mari," says Sarah. "Why do you keep staring at that hobo.?"

"Yeah," Ethan says. Another one of my friends. "She's not worth it."

I turned around. "Stop It! She's not a hobo," I whisper yell. "She didn't even do anything to yall."

"She acts...suspicious. And looks like pale sticks", Sarah whispers.

Sarah and Ethan then laugh.

I rolled my eyes. Why are they even my friends in the first place?

~Evening~

Ughh, I'm still in school and I'm so so tired. There's a valentines dance coming soon and I want to make it really REALLY special. There's gonna be lots of red. Speaking of red. I went to the storage room to get more red ribbons. But they were gone. NO!

"I think we ran out," says a girl named Rita. She was working on sticking hearts to the ceiling.

"Ok...! Um I will go tell my dad to buy some more!" I yelled running through the door.

"Hey dad can you get some more ribbons?" I asked.
"Sure sweetheart," responds dad.
I smiled. I like it when he says that.

I went back to go help with the balloons. Then I had a idea.

Oh my gosh I could totally invite Joy! Maybe she could be my valentine?
