She glanced up from her phone once i sat down and did a double take. The glance turned into a stare and she leaned closer to me and whispered "You smell like weed."

ACE POV

"Forreal? I sprayed cologne over it" I said back to her while trying to smell my shirt

"Yea bro that shit did not work" she said laughing "but if they let you in the school i'm pretty sure it's not that strong i just smoke a lot so i can smell when someone tries to cover it up"

"Yea you right they definitely wouldn't have let me in if i was that loud. What your name tho i need more smoker friends?" I asked her

"My name Kameryn but you can call me Kam whats yours?" She asked cutting her phone off and laying it face down on the table

"Angel but call me Ace please" I said emphasizes the please part because my real name is lame.

"Alrighty class i'll go ahead and get started. Welcome to draw 2 I am Ms. T and i'm going to assume you know most of the stuff you need to know for this class. You will have 1 assignment each quarter that you have the entire 9 weeks to work on and it will be counted as a test grade. I suggest you get acquainted with the person next to you because that will be your partner for the rest of the year. The first project is very simple just draw a detailed portrait of your partner and write different things you learned about them on the back of the paper. You will be graded on the quality of this project due to the fact that you have 9 weeks to do it. With that being said you guys can use this class period to get to know your partner and next class i'll hand out papers to get started. Anny questions? No alright then i'll be at my desk if you need me."

The teacher seems really cool and now i have a better excuse to get to know Kam's fine ass."Well Kam tell me about yourself" I said taking one of my airpods out and putting it into the case

"What do you want to know?" she asked looking me dead in my eyes. I can hold eye contact for a very long time so I want to see who's going to fold first.

"Tell me anything, age, zodiac sign anything bro"

"Well I'm 17, I'm a Taurus my birthday is April 29th, I'm a lesbian, I like watching anime, smoking, reading you know all that shit. What about you?"

"Ooh I love Tauruses y'all one of my favorite signs. Anyways I'm 16, I'm a Scorpio my birthday is November 11th I'm a lesbian too and I like to read and write short stories and I don't really watch anime like that."

"Wait you gay?" Kam asked sounding confused

"Was it not obvious?" I responded laughing because I get asked this a lot as a no label but I dress mostly masc so I don't know how it's not apparent

"You not gay forreal. You probably one of them fake gays" she said in disbelief

"Girl what how you gon tell me what I am?" These type of situations are so funny to me either that or i'm just geeked

Me and Kam talked the whole class period and i found out a lot about her she plays basketball because it reminds her of her dad who died when she was 10, she has a girlfriend named Alissa and she does tattoos. I might have to hit her up for a tattoo sooner or later.

"Let me get your number" I asked Ace right before the bell rung

"Ight bet. Gimme yo phone" She said putting her airpod back in. I opened my phone and passed it to her. My phone dinged as soon as i passed it to her but i didn't mind it was probably just Alissa aggravating ass.
