Skylar's POV:
(POV = Point Of View)
In every story's beginning it always start like 'Once upon a time, there was a girl and she lived at a house'. Well I'm sorry to burst your bubbles, this is not that type of fairy tale. It is a real life story. It is about my life. Oh sorry I didn't introduce myself.
My name is Skylar and I am 16 years old. In a couple of days I will turn 17. My birthday is on the 20th of January 1997.
Most people think it is a good idea to have birthday parties and have fun. Well I think quite similar to other people too. We aren't all different, but we aren't all similar either.
People have always told me that 17 is a difficult age to cope with, as so many things occur and you are in your first year of college and you have a lot of stress and whatnot feelings. You feel overwhelmed and scared, but mostly happy.
To be honest it is a big step from secondary school life to college life. But the thing is that some of us have to do this on our own and some don't, as they have family or friend's helping them cope with this big 'change', or other social activities they do in their lives.
Sorry i forgot to describe myself. I have hazel eyes, but they change colour and I know that is so weird. My eyes don't literally change, if i command it, hahaha if that is even possible.
My original eye colour is Hazel. But, when i stare at a technology's screen, or don't sleep, or stay up doing allnighter's and stay awake through the day for a long time, my eyes turn bright green with red around the edges.
They are red in photos, if the camera's flash is on.
They are yellow and a grassy shade of green if you look at them in the sun light.
They are brown at night.
So yes my eyes change colour, but i am not afraid of my own eyes. I am happy i have Hazel eyes. Want to know why? Of course you all do!
It is a known fact that individuals with brown or hazel eyes are; the most fun and happy people there are. They kiss the best and will love anything, when they shouldn't. They always end up falling for people they haven't known for a long time. They are the most hyper and crazy people there is in the world. And you can't do any better than them.
I live with my Mum, Dad and my older Sister. I don't have any brothers, which is quite a shame, as i always wanted to have an older brother. I live in England and at London, in East London.
London is a great place to visit, as there is so many places to go for having a nice time for example; Thrope park; containing roller coaster rides, The William Morris Gallery; having William Morris's works are there present for the world to see, The London Eye, The Big Ben and many more.
