You have probably heard bedtime stories. The great heroes and their party on an adventure to defeat the evil demon king and his minions. On their journey they uncovers countless treasures and mysteries, encounting formidable foes like dragons or necromancers. The heroes achieved their victory, the demon lord's plan was foiled, and the world is saved. And peace reigns ever since.

Stories like these exaggerated the achievement of the heroes, usually because kids like them this way, or a use for anti demon propagandas.

Peace reign? There was no peace reign. Sure there is no war, but it doesn't take long for another greedy and corrupted to take the Demon Lord's place. It's just under a new flag, under a new leader and under a justification. Although it is not as bad as the Demon Lord's case, it still broke the peace everyone had yearned for.

Peace and War come and go like seasons, after a war there's peace, after the peace there's war. The demon kins who survived in the war against demon lord found themselves wandering the world. Many was tried and executed in the crime for simply existing, some more fortunate onces were granted shelters and asylum.
Slowly, they merged back into the new society. As time passes... Countries and people are no longer united under ethnicity, but under nationality.

And so is war, especially war.

Is this what the heroes wanted...? But nobody cares about them anymore, they are irrelevant, they are just some stories from some children's books. It was 19 centuries ago.

In the span of 19 centuries, the world is filled with war, power struggle and unification...

London, the center of world. (Allegedly)

A shining beacon of technological advancement and industrial heart land of the British Empire. The once human Kingdom has transformed into a United Kingdom with its now diversed residents through industrialisation.

Very unlike to the neighbouring infant republic, which just founded less than a century ago after overthrowing their human aristocrats with a lot of heads rolled during the revolution. Later it turned into an Empire lead by a dwarven Emperor which plunged into an all out war with the entire continent. He lost at the end, reverting the country back into a human monarch. Which then gone through two more revolutions. Finally, it stabilised and settled as a French Republic until recent years.

Very unlike to the Elven Empire that recently united all the Elven tribes and small kingdoms of the center region of the continent under a single rule. Recruiting great minds into their famed military Empire, its technology and scientific achievements can yet be rivaled. They all unite under one banner, one nationality, as they all consider themselves Germans.

Very unlike to the United States at the west, across a vast Atlantic ocean. A shining symbol of freedom that originally broke away from the British Empire. The shining symbol of freedom and equality of all men, while supressing and exploiting the beastmen tribes that originally settled in the west of the continent.

Also very unlike to the Empire to the East, a nation that only recently opened their country and ended their isolationism after foreign interference. This demonic (race) Empire rapidly trying industrialised and modernised, and eventually becomes a power at her own continent, formidable even to the west.

The heart of the British Empire, the center of the world, is a crime infested city. Home to the most notorious thieves ever known to this world.
