chapter 7 exorcist and last resorts

it has been a month since the wedding for my king rizer and rias. I have finally come in terms with my heritage and i am strong enough to get a stand still with tanin but barely. I also got the respect from Sona she came by and thanked me for showing that she was to content. now i am walking to rias club room because i am now part of her family she said.

i knocked on the door "hey rias its me issei" i hear her say come in but the atmosphere is tense and i feel dread. i open the door and saw what look like two exorcists. one of them looked familiar "iri...irina?" the twin tail brunette looked my way and "issei is that you" i nodded "yeah its me but i wished we met under better circumstances" she nodded as to know that i am a devil" she also asked " so how is mrs.Mika i didn't see anyone at your house?" i look down and said  "sorry irina but mom was killed" she looked away and apologized "wait what about the sw.." i stopped her " i have it it has recognized me as the next wielder and i have it almost mastered." the other one stood up and looked pissed "how could a devil wield a holy and godly sword?" i looked at her and told her "unlike most holy weapons mine chooses its wielder and also so far as i know only my family blood line can use it" she clicked her tongue because she knows that i am right" i walk behind on the other side of rias "don't tell me you are part of her peerage issei?" i shook my head  "let me reintroduce myself i am issei hyoudou queen of rizer phenex i am a evil dragonoid devil hybrid" that caused both of them to be startled cause me being a devil wasn't good enough it was worst that i was a evil dragon.

the meeting had ended they just wanted us to stay out of it but why would the angels send them on a suicide mission against someone like kokabiel who has had millennium of experience and survived against god and lucifer. that wasn't good enough apparently one of rias pieces had a grudge against excalibur. Kiba her only knight piece was the survivor of a experiment from a mad clergy man to produce people who can wield a excalibur but when they weren't needed anymore they were disposed of when i say that i meant killed. now here i am facing off against my childhood friend. i walked onto the field "alright this is just a mock battle so no killing" i hear rias and i nodded "that's fine all i want is that sword destroyed" i hear kiba state, while i can understand its simply idiotic to hold a grudge on a unanimated object. I face towards Irina "ohh issei I can't believe so much has happened to you" i shrugged "i made it through it even if I am a devil I am still me" i nodded towards rias "begin!!" Irina instantly took her excalibur and aimed for my vitals which i noticed right away i look at at irina confused " hey Irina this is a mock battle no need to go for my vitals" she looks happy?? "what a trial from god to come here to have to cut down my childhood friend i must pass it, may your sins be cut down by my sword amen" she charged using quick turns to throw off my judgement it seems she is looking down on me. When she was to cut me i covered my hands in my scales and caught the sword but even through my scales it burns. irina and the blue haired girl named xenovia looked at me in shock "how are you holding excalibur and not taking damage" i chuckle " don't get me wrong this burns but i coated my hands in my scales to prevent furthur damage" she then put her feet on me and kicked me away which i let go of the blade. I now take initiative and charge i use my draconic side to boost my speed i used some of my dark magic to create a fake after image i do a quick step while i was in her blind spot while the fake after image was still going to get behind her but she instantly turn around and tries to slice me  "very clever but i can always feel evil near me" ok how about this i used magic that i came up with i dubbed it "Abyss lightning" its my dark magic and lightning together its fast and  its specialty its very deceiving. normally dark magic is slow but what happens if you apply it to another magic that is fast well i took me 4 months to control it how i do now. Irina looks worried " i wouldn't sit still Irina" the lightning came from her shadow and struck her i controlled it so it would just set her to her knees. everyone looks at shock at my new skill "well i haven't seen that from you  before" rias said akeno was looking very interested in my lightning " how and what was that" Irina honestly asked " i looked at her serious and didn't want rias to know all my secrets so i kept it vague "i have two elements i have high compatibility with its lightning and dark magic so it was a mixture of both" Irina looked amused but then faced the floor " alright i concede i can't predict that" as we were done i saw kiba get hit and he was down.
