When Prakash descended the throne of one of the most prosperous and powerful kingdoms, suryagadh, his eldest son Aaditya was crowned as the new King, along with his youngest as army chief. The position of chief minister was still handled by Raahi, the younger brother of prakash.

Even though Aaditya was a great king, who brought a great fame to the country, having admirable support from both his younger brothers, none of the three was what Prakash wanted for the king of suryanagar to be. Though he was impressed by the ability of all three brothers, that is kingship of Aaditya, warrior skill of Veer and deep political knowledge of som, who was trained under his uncle Raahi, none of them was enough to fulfill Prakash's expectations of being the king of suryagadh.

Raahi knows the worries and tension of his brother. His opinion about this generation is also the same. It's not that his nephews lack anything, no, if anything they are exceptional in their field, but with the glorifing history of his kingdom, they need someone who is more than exceptional, someone who is a true king. Both brothers' hope now lies in the youngest generation. Now this is another topic of worry, not only among the older generation but also for the  three brothers. The problem is even though there is unconditional love between real siblings, the three sets of cousins were not so fond of each other. Though they don't hate each other yet, their dislike towards each other is not so hidden. Being the youngest among nine brothers, both sons of Som are still somewhere ok, but the other two sets of cousins are not so subtle. Both sets wanted  their eldest to be the next  in Line to throne. The age gap of 2 months between the eldest along with both showing the capabilities of a worthy king is not helpful at all.

Moving the story towards Ugra pradesh, the king Sakti was one the the great kings in the history. Though his kingdom was not as powerful as suryagadh, it still has its own beauty. King Sakti was one of the most kind kings world has ever seen. He along with his wife, Shravani, was loved throughout the kingdom. Both loves their children to core, never differentiating between Vrishika and their two biological sons. Infact one can say to some extent they love their daughter more than both of their sons. King Sakti wanted his beloved daughter to be his hier, but he also knows that the society will never allow a girl to rule the kingdom. But the capabilities of vrishika reassured him that she will break all the society norms and will become one of the most admirable ruler in the history.
