"Jesse get up... please get up... Jesse..." Jesse Jumped awake. "What was that about and why was there so much blood around me," Jesse said as he raised himself up a little shaken, "And what time is it?" Jesse looked at the clock. 5 a.m. Of course, it was. Why wouldn't it be, it's not like Jesse was tired from the day before, plus sharing his Nature Energy with Blitz wasn't helping him any. Though he did just get Blitz the day before, he assumed he just wasn't used to it, but maybe by a week or 2, it will be better and not as exhausting. Jesse got up and went to go take a shower.
While he was in the shower, he kept thinking about that dream. He just couldn't understand why he was bleeding and why someone was telling him to get up. The voice wasn't one he knew, yet somehow it was similar. Jesse knew he was no fighter... so why was he fighting someone? None of it made sense to him, but it was just a dream, so he guessed it didn't matter much. After his shower, he went to go make himself breakfast. A nice bowl of cereal, it didn't require cooking and tasted good. Though Jesse did miss his mom's home-cooked meals. Thankfully today was the first vacation, so he was going to finally go home and not deal with getting beat up, though he wasn't that worried anymore, as he had Blitz to protect him now.
That kind of relieved some of his stress. Jesse walked over to his nightstand and grabbed the B.C. and called out Blitz. Blitz squawked happily and jumped on Jesse's shoulder. "Shh keep it down, Lux is trying to sleep," Jesse said as he put the B.C. on his arm. Blitz looked over at Lux and jumped on her. "No Blitz, let her sleep. Don't you dare wake her up," Jesse said. But it was too late... Blitz lowered his head and peaked Lux's face. "OW WHAT THE HELL," Lux yelled. "Blitz what did I say," Jesse said grabbing Blitz, "Lux I'm sorry, I don't know why he did that." Lux looked at Jesse and made chills run down his spine, "Well since I'm up, I'm going to go take a shower." "Blitz if we die because you did that, I will kill you before she gets the chance," Jesse said looking at Blitz.
When Lux got out she walked over to the table to eat her breakfast. "So you ready to go home for a few weeks," Jesse asked. "Yeah, you know how much sleep I can get," Lux said smiling. Jesse chuckled, "Yeah, though I'll probably be forced to start training, since my Dad is probably going to get tired of how much I get hurt." Lux smiled and continued eating. After a few hours, Jesse and Lux was all packed up, and ready to go home. They walked together to the end of the entrance, and they began to say their goodbyes. "Bye Jesse, I'll see you next semester," Lux said hugging Jesse. Jesse hugged her, while he was acting like he didn't care, he did enjoy hugging his best friend. They said goodbye and walked toward their homes. Jesse was going to miss Lux, but he knew he would see her again in a few weeks.
As Jesse was walking home, he saw a woman crying and was looking into the forest. "Excuse me, ma'am, are you alright," Jesse asked. "My daughter... some people kidnapped her and ran into the forest," the woman replied. "Ok, wait here... I'll go get her," Jesse said looking into the forest. "Thank you, young man," the woman said. Jesse summoned Blitz from his control gadget. "Hey bud, I need your help. Can you go scout the forest for me," Jesse asked. Blitz squawked and flew into the forest. "Time to see how this works," Jesse said as he connected his eyesight to Blitz's. It was weird, Jesse could somehow see out of his own eyes, as well as Blitz's. It kind of made him disoriented. "There she is, look like there is 3 guys and none of them are watching your daughter," Jesse said. Jesse had Blitz land on a tree and watch, "Ok ma'am I'll be right back, I hope." And Jesse ran into the forest.
What was Jesse getting himself into, he couldn't fight one person, let alone 3. Maybe he should have trained more, it might have given him a chance at survival. Oh well no turning back now. Jesse approached the camp sight. At the edge of the camp, the woman's daughter was tied up. "Well this could either go seriously, seriously wrong, or it could go smoothly," Jesse said under his breath. Jesse snuck over to the girl, using Blitz as his "spy" system. He approached the girl and covered her lips so she wouldn't make noise. Then cut the rope holding her. As Jesse was backing up, he accidentally stepped on a stick and made a loud noise. The kidnappers turned around. "Look we have another kid who we can sell to the boss," The Biggest one said. This guy was huge, at least 6'6, and was wide at the shoulders. The other 2 were about the same height around 5'9. Their faces were all covered so Jesse couldn't get a good look at them. "Oh hey, guys... I was just leaving; I just came in here to use the restroom. You know how it is," Jesse said Nervously.
