The sun feels hot on Kenma's face as morning begins to show. His hand eyes twitch for a second before beginning to open a little with a groan. "Why's it so hot," he grumbles.

"Maybe because you're laying in the sun," you say, standing over him. "Did you enjoy your nap?"

He just grumbles again. "Let me go back to sleep." He curls up in a ball as he says it, covering his face with his arms.

"Nope! Get up. It's time to move on. It's been almost a week in this town and it's time to go to the next one."

"Ugh. I don't want to move," he whines.

You just laugh, pulling him up onto his feet. "Nope! Up Kenma."

Instead of staying on his feet, Kenma just lets his body fall against you. His face ends up against your chest, able to feel your boobs squish his face. As soon as he feels that, he jumps back. "I didn't mean to do that-" he says quickly, a slight tint of pink appearing on his cheeks."

"Whatever you say," you tease, not even minding what happened. It didn't bother you even the slightest. The pink of Kenma's cheeks make you glad it happened, finding him adorable to watch. Laughing a little, you say, "Now let's get our stuff packed and going."

"M'kay," Kenma mumbles, trying to hide his face as he begins to pack.

After the packing has finished, you begin to move. You look for another neighborhood. It's light out so you have to be careful. "You've got to come inside this time, Kenma. You can sit in the living room," You tell him. "It's too dangerous to stay outside in the daylight."

"Fine..." Kenma sighs, really not wanting to have to hear any of it. He has no way to argue though.

You find a good neighborhood and peek in different windows, one being where you can see a man inside. The man has dark spiked up hair with thin eyebrows, eyes just as dark as his hair. "There!" You bring Kenma around to the edge of the fence, able to see a way in. The back door is wide open. "I don't think this man is too smart. I can tell he has at least a single child because of the toys... Not sure if there is a mom inside or not though."

"How about we not find out," Kenma suggests with a sarcastic tone in his voice.

"Yeah, sure. Not going to happen."

A shrug leaves the man, the fact that he tried to save a life or two at least there in his thoughts. The two of you make your way into the house, making sure to be sneaky as much as possible. Once stepping inside, you point to a corner of the room that is barely seeable. "Stay there unless I call for you. It will keep you from being seen," you whisper to him. Kenma nods and goes to the corner he was told to go to.

The room you walked into is the living room. There is a couch in the shape of an L, a TV hanging on the wall, bookshelves lining the right side of the room. The room is large and beautiful. You can tell the family has a good amount of money. It gives you a little extra to leave with after the fact.

As you begin to make your way through the room, you can hear someone close. You hide down next to the couch and peek out, able to see the man you saw before. He has a plate in his hands, raw meat on the plate. You realize you missed the fact that the grill was going. You have such a large hope that it doesn't end up having more people appear. You can get away with a few people, but a bloodbath isn't necessarily your best specialty.. Or well, you don't prefer having to do it. It's more work than you find yourself liking to do.

The man has a knife in his hand so you find it better to allow him to go by first, having hope that he puts the knife down while outside. You keep yourself hidden as he heads out, moving yourself to stay hidden when he heads back in. On his way in, you can still see the knife in his hands. You choose to attempt anyway, knowing that Kenma will not allow you to get too roughed up. You've realized that from previous killings.

As soon as he gets a foot past you, you jump onto his back. Your legs lock around his waist and your arm roughly holds against his throat. "Scream or yell and I will hurt your kids in the house too."

The man ignores your threat and begins to try and wrangle you off of him. You end up slammed into a bookshelf, a wall, a door, just anything the man can get to while at the same time trying to get his knife up. Kenma peeks from where he is and watches the whole scene, keeping an eye on whether he needs to jump in or not. He stays put though.

You continue to fight the man, moving one of your legs in towards his groin as much as possible until you reach it, quickly kicking in. The man falls in a little bit, another kick headed his way. The second kick causes him to fall, the knife in his hand accidentally stabbing in his stomach. He screams out as the point stabs into him. You get off of the man, blood beginning to pool beneath his body. "Well damn," you say. "There goes all my fun."

You're surprised you have yet to hear anyone else in the house, taking a minute and just listening. It just sounds empty. From the hallway, you do hear a little "meow." You look down the hallway to see a small black kitten, eyes a bright yellow like the sun.

You bend down and put your hand out, seeing if it may come to you. To your own surprise, the kitten runs to you and you pick it up. "Aweee! Kenma c'mere, it's adorable!"

"Are you sure no one else is here before I get out?"

"Yes Kenma, I'm sure."

He hesitates, "and are you sure that the man is, you know, dead?"

"Yes Kenma, god damn." Your annoyance has grown. Kenma can of course tell and forces himself to not ask anymore questions.

Kenma sighs and heads straight to you. "A kitten?" he questions, seeing the black feline in your arms.

"Yeah! He came right to me." You pick the kitten up to where you can see it better and look at the lower half of it. "Okay, excuse me, she came right to me."

"Are you wanting to keep her?" Kenma asks?"

You think about it and sigh. "Yeah, but I can't. She wouldn't survive. She would do better in the hands of another."

"Maybe we can keep her until we find someone to give her to?"

"No, this man has children. They may not be home but they will want their kitten. I may take parents away from the little ones but I would never take a kitten away from them. That's overly monstrous. I will leave the kitten here. He was obviously waiting for people to show, so it won't be alone too long."

Kenma nods, "Okay." Kenma feels as if this shows that you have a heart. Your heart isn't for a lot of things, but it is for animals. He's never had hope that you will change your ways and knows for a fact that you will not in the future, but it does give him a slight sense of positivity about you as a human being.

You pet the kitten for a moment before setting it down. "Be good little friend." The kitten nuzzles against your leg before prancing back down the hallway. You turn your head to Kenma and say, "Let's get out of here and find somewhere to stay."

"Okay, anywhere that allows me to not have to keep myself from looking at a dead body on the floor."

"Yeah, yeah, I think it's art."

"You see art, I see hell."

You giggle as you say, "I think hell sounds pretty damn nice."
