When they first started getting the notes, [Y/N] didn't know what they were getting into. It started when the first letter hit them. Really hit them. Walking out of the hotel, they were struck by a paper airplane of sorts. Which confused them, since when they looked around, they couldn't see anyone who could've thrown it.

[Y/N] held onto the paper airplane, only noticing by closer examination what looked like words written on it. They quickly unraveled the paper and discovered that it was a note. Written by someone. With [Y/N]'s name on it.

Dear Y/N,

I've never met someone who made my life as bright as you. Making all sorrows wipe clean as you walk through rooms. Your eyes are boundless, sparkling like snowflakes in a winter breeze, almost putting me in a trance. Your beauty is bright and warm, radiating everywhere, when you laugh, or smile, or grin. You won't realize how much love I have to give you, but I hope you take this note into consideration of how much you impact my life. How much reason you give me to live. You brought me sunshine when I only saw rain. You brought me laughter when I only saw pain. I love you, but I just can't say it to your face.

Love,

Your Secret Admirer

[Y/N] reread this note the entire day. In Between cleaning the hotel, or coddled up in their room, or over by the cows in the field. No matter how many times they reread the note, they always have the same reaction with how wide they grin and how giddy they feel inside. Someone here loves them.

But they don't know who it is. [Y/N] frowned. They wish they knew who wrote this letter.

"This is gonna bother me all day.." mumbled [Y/N]. They got up from the grass they were sitting on, and left for their hotel. When they entered, they leaned against a nearby wall and sighed.

"Is something the matter, [Y/N]?" The concierge asked. [Y/N] looked over towards the man at the counter. He was one of the few first people they met when they first arrived in Strangetown.

"The usual, just reading this letter."

"You've been looking at it an awful lot, what is it?"

"A love letter addressed to me by this secret admirer," they walk over to the counter, "And I really wanna know who wrote this." [Y/N] hands the concierge the letter and watches as he reads it and shrugs.

"I'm sorry, I don't know who wrote this.. However you could try talking to Mamma Hogg, I'm sure she knows just about everyone's handwriting." The concierge said, handing back the letter.

[Y/N] shrugged, "Helpful. Weird, but helpful. Thanks."

With that, [Y/N] would wave bye and rush over to the Saloon. She entered and went over upstairs to her room. With a couple knocks, Mamma Hog would open her door.

"[Y/N], what's up?" Mamma Hogg questioned.

"I heard you're good with discerning hand-writing..??"

Mamma Hogg smiles, "Yes I can, I've remembered mostly everyone here's writing."

"Great," handing the letter to Mamma Hogg, "discern this."

Mamma Hogg gazes carefully at the letter, taking her time. However, she hands back the letter to [Y/N] with a frown. "This. I don't know this one."

"What! You said you knew everyone's handwriting!"

"Mostly everyones. I'm sorry"

[Y/N] just groans. They wave bye to Mamma Hogg and shuffled back to the hotel, clearly dissatisfied.
