It was a quite day, it was roughly noon

Noelle was walking to her house with a disappointed and discouraged look on her face. She had just failed the knight exam for the 11th time in a row. She never understood why she kept on failing, she trained and fought so hard, only to forever be deemed "not good enough". Was she always just going to be "the maid"? The only being able to be a person wishing to be a knight but never achieve her goal? Is she just destined to fail regardless of how hard she tries? Was she always going to be a...failure?

"No!" She thought "I can't give up now, not when I worked so hard for this!" Noelle tried to encourage herself.
"I have to carry on, I can't quit, not yet"

"But come to think about it, what would I do if I don't become a knight? I could probably help dad with his bakery and-No! I can't think about that. I've been training to be a knight my whole life, if I give up now then all the training, all that hard work would be down the drain and it would all be for nothi-"

When she was out side her house, she put her hands on the door knob, but then, she heard a familiar high-pitched voice. (can you guess who it is?)

"Traveller! Paimon thinks we should mabye take Amber to the festival, she was the first person we saw from Teyvat right? Oooh mabye we should take-"

Traveller! Is that you?" Noelle said as her eyes lit up. It has been more than a year since they've seen me, but what if they don't recognize me?

*Gasp* "Paimon thinks we should take Noelle to the Lantern Rite instead."

Noelle was a little taken aback by the statement. Her and her parents used to go to the Lantern Rite every year, but after her mother got ingured the stopped.

"Greeting Traveler and Paimon, I heard you talking about me, could you please explain further?"

"Sure but I'll let Paimon explain." Traveler said, in their usual monotone voice.

"Okay so, the Lantern Rite festival is coming up, and because Traveler over here wanted to bring someone with, we decided we should bring someone from Mondstat, because we haven't been here in a while."

"I'm not sure Traveller" Noelle said, with an unsure look on her face (hMm YeS, tHe FlOOr hERe iS mAdE oUt oF fLoor)

"I haven't been to The Lantern Rite in years, and I am not well aquaited with Lique."

"It's alright Noelle, Paimon can show you the way."

"I'm really sorry, but I habe duties here in Modstat and-"

"Thats okay, you need a break anyway." Paimon interrupted (don't interrupt best girl) "Paimon and Traveler can help you and it is only midday and the festivalonly starts at night, that should be plenty of time to get done."

Noelle started to look more relieved. Most days she would reject any help, but after what happened with the knight exam, she could use a break.

*Sigh* Okay Traveller, I'll go" Noelle said, reluctantly.

"Ugh that was so much work, Paimon can barely walk," (???) "How do you do that everyday Noelle?" Paimon said, in a very overdramatic manner.

"Okay Noelle, here is your house, now change quickly so we are not late."

Noelle got in her house and started heading upstairs. She got in her room and realized: she didn't have anything to put on.

"Hello sweetie," A voice from the opposite room.
