Bye Emma, have fun seeing the world. We waved as they boarded. we then went back to my house and had a sleepover and went for an early morning swim to mako. I hugged them both at the moonpool and swam quickly swam to shore and transported home then got my stuff and went to the platform and got on the train and sat by Fred and George. "Hey Hayley, how was your summer?" It was fine, how was yours. "It was good. We love your hair, by the way." Oh, thanks. My light brown hair was at my waist and it was cut into a v with dark blonde and carmel balayage with root melt. Once we got a little closer to the school, we changed into our uniforms, and I got a text from Cleo, Emma, and Rikki. "Be careful at school." I rolled my eyes but responded to them before going back to Fred and George. Once we got off the train, we went to the great hall, and I sat close by the teachers table. I was eating when I nearly choked when Dumbledore said that we'd be learning about magical creatures from Hagrid. I looked to Hagrid, who was looking at me. I went back to eating and trying to act normal. I was about to go to my room in Slytherin when Draco stopped me in the common room. Hey, Malfoy. "Hey, Hayley! How have you been and how was your summer?" It was fine. I was on my way out when Hermione and Harry grabbed me and pulled me to them and asked how I was doing. We talked for a little bit before I went to my room, and I went to bed. I went to my first class transfigurations and was held for a little bit after and asked how I was doing. Once potions was over, I was on my way to care of magical creatures' class, which made me very nervous so I just zoned out in this class then went to my next class which was defense of the dark arts which made me feel a little better because it felt like I was out of the danger zone. Not that I didn't like Hagrid, I just didn't like the fact that he was teaching about magical creatures. I feel like he's going to find out my secret and I really don't want him, or anyone else to find out. After class I was about to go to my room when I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Hey Hayley, how are you doing? You seemed nervous at dinner last night." Yes, professor, I'm fine. How are you doing? "Oh, I'm fine." A few days later, I was in divination, when ms trelawney looked at my cup. "Oh, girl, something big is about to happen to you." My stomach clenched. That weekend I was with the Weasley twins and I ran into professor lupin. Oh, I'm sorry professor. "Not a problem, Hayley." I brushed it off and we continued talking. "So Hayley, how are you going?" I'm fine, Cleo. How are you going? "We're fine. How's school going?" I paused for a little bit, not really sure what to say. Uumm...well it's, ok, I think I'm in trouble. "What's happened?" Well, let's just say that we just had a new corse springed on us that's mandatory. "Ok, what's so bad about that?" The corse is outside, by a big lake AND the subject is magical creatures rikki. "Oh." Yea, there's so many it could go wrong. A few weeks later, I was in class with professor lupin and we were learning about bogarts. He explained what we needed to do and had us line up. I was before harry. I got out my wand an (Acacia wood with a dragon heartstring core that was 10 3/4 long and pretty flexible) before the professor released it. I shut my eyes quickly, next thing I know the professor was tapping my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see the professor staring at me with, I don't know, concern? I stepped out of the way and Harry went next. After he went, class ended early. "Hayley, can I have a quick word with you?" Sure professor. We waited till everyone left and the professor sat right in front of me. "So, I saw that you were scared of the full moon as well." I interrupted him. I'm sorry professor, but did you say to? Are you saying your afraid of it to? "Yes. And I want to know why you're afraid of it." There's a long pause and he asked, with a mix of fear and uncertainty, "are you a werewolf to?" No, are you? He just looked away and nodded. I just put a hand on his shoulder and gave a reassuring smile. Don't worry professor, I'll keep this secret of yours. I saw relief come on his face. "So, if you're not a werewolf, then why are you afraid of it?" Oh, um, it's nothing really. I just have a weird pull towards the moon. Hey, I just had an idea, so since we're both affected by the full moon, do you want to keep each other company during it? "Yes. I would like that, actually." Ok then. Just out of curiosity, when is the next full moon? "Tomorrow." Damnit, I muttered. "Hey, it's fine, we'll get through it together. Defense of the dark arts was my last class, so I was in the dining hall eating with fred and George. The next day, I went to my last class, defense of the dark arts and I just had a feeling like something bad was about to happen. We were listening to a lecture when suddenly, a column of water came out of nowhere and lunged at me, forcing me to have to try to dodge it, narrowly avoiding it. It came at me again and I had to dodge it again. After the third time it finally left. I got up and tried to continue class like normal. After class, I sent cleo a message explaining what just happened. At dinner, Fred and George practically dragged me to the table with them. "Oy, what happened in class?" I heard George ask. I don't know guys. "A big tower of water came for you!" Fred said. Later that night, I was set up for a sleepover with lupin. I had my sleeping bag and pillow ready and asked him if he could cover any windows. I had a really, really bad feeling about tonight. I was talking with lupin but wasn't fully there. I just had a feeling like something happened to one of the girls. The next day, at dinner, professor snape walked up to my table. "Ms. Castler, my office after dinner." He left then we continued eating. After dinner, I went down to snapes office and sat down. You wanted to see me professor? "Yes, Malfoy told me about your bogart," there was a tense silence and I felt him enter my mind. I quickly blocked out all memories of me and the girls in mermaid form and anything to do with mako. He tried to push me to let him see more but I wasn't having it. I wasn't about to have another denmin incident and that gave me enough fuel to push him out. He didn't look pleased but I didn't care either. "Ms. Caster," he said with an annoyed and irritated voice while giving me an I'm not amused look, "whatever your hiding, is it a danger to the rest of the students and staff?" No. "Good. Now, onto the next order of business, it seems like your wand is really fighting you. I really recommend you get your wand looked at or get it replaced." Sure, professor. I was about to leave when he said "oh and whatever you're hiding, I intend to find out what it is." I gulped and ran to my bed.
