Visiera visited the city specifically the shack in which slaves of the city were putting more ice on the egg. Visiera was sad, the slaves shouldn't be there, they should be living their lives freely. After seeing that she looked at the egg and then immediately left, she didn't know who made the slaves take care of the egg but she would find out. She walked back to Rhaenyra's chambers and as she walked in she ranted on and on about Alicent.
"She quite literally can't take anything I say into consideration. She won't take the offer and next thing I know, the people taking care of the ice egg, they were slaves. And I swear, if Alicent made the slaves do the work, I will scortch her in the fire of my dragons and hang her head outside the wall." Visiera ranted.
"Slaves? I thought Viserys made it clear we wouldn't have any slaves," Rhaenyra asked, holding Joffrey in her arms.
"He did. And I wouldn't be surprised if Alicent went against Viserys' wishes." Visiera answered.
She sighed and then sat by Rhaenyra. She looked at her and Rhaenyra gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"I never thought we'd have kids after I had health problems, but then Rhae and Nys were born. And I am glad I had them with you," Rhaenyra smiled.
"You flatter me, Nyra." Visiera said.
"When do I not?" Rhaenyra smiled.
"You know nothing, Rhaenyra Targaryen." Visiera laughed.
They both laughed as Rhaenyra took her hand and rubbed it. Visiera smiled and they kissed, the kiss was short and sweet and they touched their foreheads together.
"We leave by the end of the week?" Rhaenyra asked holding her forehead to hers.
"Of course, my Princess. My Queen. I promise you, we'll do this together." Visiera smiled.
Suddenly Visiera's handmaiden Mayliana runs in frantically.
"Princess. My Queen." Mayliana said.
"What is it, Mayliana?" Visiera asked.
"The shack where the ice egg is. It's--it's on fire! The--the people in the shack, they can't get out! Someone's stopping them from getting out!" Mayliana answered.
"Take me there," Visiera said.
"Visiera!" Rhaenyra said, grabbing her hand.
"What?" Visiera asked.
"Please don't, you'll get hurt."
"There's innocent people in there, I will not have their blood on my hands." Visiera said.
She left with Mayliana and they quickly got to the shack. Hundreds of civilians were standing there, looking ever so shocked at the sight. Visiera turned and looked at Mayliana, holding both of her hands.
"Mayliana, you are my handmaiden, my friend." Visiera said.
"Yes." Mayliana said.
"You believe in me,"
"I do,"
"And you trust me. As the Queen of Driftmark, of Dragonstone. And the Princess of the Iron Throne."
"Yes."
"I am a Targaryen, Mayliana. And a Stark, now I place my life in the Gods that my ice and fire blood will provide my safety,"
"Wait, what?"
Visiera smiled at her and then ran into the burning shack. Mayliana screamed her name but she was already inside.
Once Visiera made it in, she struggled to see but once it became more clear she saw it was Ser Kargan Greyjoy and his brothers. The slaves were running as she navigated them out to safety. Kargan became angry with what she was doing.
"You Stark's never give up do you?" Kargan asked angrily.
"Nope, and neither do Targaryens." Visiera answered.
Kargan's face dropped in shock, it's almost like Visiera gave away her identity that she's tried to hide for her whole life. She doesn't care though, today made her realize she can't hold herself a secret anymore. Visiera took off the red wig, in which was hiding her true silver hair. Kargan's face showed fear as she showed them who she was. Kargan tried to win her over by speaking broken Valyrian.
"Visiera. I-we apoligize for this-this mistake. We will leave a-at once. We will serve you." Kargan stuttered in broken Valyrian.
Visiera lays her hand on a fire pit, her hands don't burn as she looks back up at them.
"You're not going to serve.. you're going to die." Visiera said speaking High Valyrian.
She then threw the fire pit down creating more flames. The men run but she doesn't, Kargan shoots her a look and then she throws another fire pit down. The men burn a crisp as she makes sure everyone is out. She catches a glimpse of the ice egg, the last bit of ice keeping it cool was melting away. She ran to it and held close to her body. She prayed that her Stark blood would come through and her body would cool for the egg, and it did. Rhaenyra ran to the shack where knights of the Kingsguard, the slaves, and Mayliana were. Mayliana was holding her hands close together. Rhaenyra ran to Mayliana scared for Visiera.
"Is she out yet?" Rhaenyra asked.
"She hasn't yet left the shack. It's grown in flames! All the slaves are out except for Visiera!" Mayliana cried.
Rhaenyra started to tear up, she didn't want to lose her. The knights saw them and covered them just in time when the shack turned to ash and tumbled down. The ash was hard to see through as Rhaenyra and Mayliana walked closer to see if they coud find her. The ash blew away as a figure was seen. Ash covered her naked body and Rhaenyra saw silver hair. It became more clear when the figure was recognized as Visiera. Rhaenyra's face turned to joy as happy tears fell down her face, Mayliana's too. The people around looked at her as Flaemma, Rhaelys, Nivne, and Maelor flew down beside Visiera. People then saw a baby dragon crawl up to Visiera's shoulder. It was a dark gray and had blue streaks on the outside of it. The baby dragon blew fire which was shown to be a royal blue color, it was cold too. The ice egg was a Northern dragon, that last known to be around.
Rhaenyra and Mayliana looked in amazement as the slaves and civilians whispered muña or mother in High Valyrian. But most were whispering se ojūdan Targārien (the lost Targaryen). Rhaenyra heard them and shook her head, the names were good but didn't stick, they were titles every Queen wishes they had.
"Muña Zaldrīzoti! (Mother of Dragons!)" Mayliana yelled in High Valyrian.
That was a title. But Rhaenyra thought she needed more than just that. She walked up to Visiera, putting her coat on her, covering her ashed body. She walked ahead of her and spoke to the people around.
"She freed you! She freed all of you! You were once chained and now you aren't, you owe your lives to her! She is Mother, she is the lost Targaryen, and she is the Mother of Dragons. But she is much more than just that. If you can't clearly see it I'll speak it. She is the Breaker of Chains!" Rhaenyra yelled.
The people cheered as Visiera smiled at Rhaenyra. Rhaenyra smiled back.
"I do not wish of you all to devote your lives to me, that is but your choice. And that is what I'm giving you, choices! You are free, now! Be free!" Visiera yelled.
The people cheered louder as Visiera walked back to the castle with Mayliana and Rhaenyra by her side, the ice dragon on her shoulder, and the Kingsguard behind her.
When she told Rhaenys, Viserys, Alicent, and Corlys, they all seemed okay with it, at least Alicent acted like it. Everyone knew she hated that Visiera would now be in higher in charge because she looks more Targaryen than Stark. Now she couldn't hold being a bastard against her because after she showed who she really was, people embraced it more than hating it.
The next day Rhaenyra walked with Visiera outside of the castle to find all the slaves she had freed gathered. They lifted Visiera onto their shoulders and said muña (mother) as they embraced her. Visiera laughed and smiled in joy as her children, Mayliana, and Malia smiled beside Rhaenyra. Rhaenyra looked at her lover and her eyes spoke for themselves, she was in love with her. A little after the freed people followed Visiera on boats with the Targaryen and Stark flags on them as Visiera, Mayliana, Malia, and her children sailed back to Dragonstone. Maelor, Flaemma, Nivne, and Rhaelys flew above them while the baby ice dragon which Visiera decided to name Stornn sat on her shoulder.
Only a few days later Rhaenyra and her family and maids walked on the bridge the connected them to Dragonstone, Rhaenyra stopped as Visiera walked out in front of the gates.
"My Queen, welcome to Dragonstone."
