"Many times there have been someone to try and kill the Alpha, and one lucky son of a bitch did. They were from a rival pack that always had something against my grandfather. During the time him and his wife died, chaos roamed through our land. My father and his siblings were confused as to what was happening, they were about five and just turned into pups. It was a sad sight to see, watching as they would sniff around the house, attempting to find their parents. Without the leadership of their parents they made dangerous decisions which they lost their lives to. My father was the only to survive because he mostly stayed hidden in his room, until he turn back into a human, which was when we told him about his parents. It was very difficult because the Beta had been out of the circle ever since his wife was pregnant, because he couldn't bare to miss the arrival of his litter. Everyone was grieving over the death of the Alpha that they never realized how stable he kept everyone when he was the Alpha. There were so many different issues I don't even know where to begin! There was someone though that was willing to take on the challenge, your grandfather.

He was our saving grace and allowed our life to be placed back into order. His mate bore a litter of their own, which created your father and his siblings. Once your father had turned 18 he became the new Alpha and went on a search for his mate. He went as far as Australia where he finally found her. I believe that your father must have told you the story, right?"

I nodded my head remembering how my parents told me the story together and how much love they held for one another through it all.

I just turned back into a human at age six and I was very energetic, you could practically see me bouncing off the walls! It took a good hour, but my parents finally calmed me down enough to tell the story of their love.

My mom began, "At the time I just turned sixteen and was quite rebellious. Although I knew not to do drugs, but I did go to parties and slept around a lot. I didn't care about anything except for having the time of my life. I got this rush when I disobeyed my parents, which I regret now, but at the time I was livid. Then I met your father."

My father laughed and said, "To your mother I was ' the man that was trying to kill her fun.'" She laughed along with him before delicately kissing his cheek.

My mom continued to talk, "Anyway, your father was one of the strictest men I have ever met and I wanted to try anything and everything to get away from him. I kept sleeping around, but it wasn't as fun anymore, so instead I continued to get wasted. At one particular party I got wasted at, I slept with a random man whose face I couldn't identify. I didn't care at the time because I wanted to get away from your father. He seemed like such a stalker with following me everywhere and even attempted to follow me into the schools girl restroom!"

My father laughed and said, "Well how else was I suppose to get your attention!"

"By not stalking me you idiot," my mother replied in a playful manner. They laughed together and gave each other a quick kiss before my mother continued, "Anyway, when I woke up I found your father next to me, cuddling me like there was no tomorrow and I was freaking out. My thoughts were that I just slept with my stalker and I was trying my hardest to get out of his grip, but to not wake him up. It didn't work since he just held me tighter and then a couple of minutes late he had woken up. Our eyes met and my heart beats increased because I felt the connection of the mates, the same one that I felt the night before. I didn't know it and I just thought it was the buzz that was still in my system because I drank a lot the night before. At that moment I jumped from the bed, put on a long t-shirt, and ran from the room. I didn't realize that I wasn't wearing my shirt, but his. I cursed, but still ran all the way home, which is a good mile from the party. When I did get home I realized my parents weren't, which I was incredibly happy about. It would have been interesting to explain why I smelled like alcohol and why I was wearing someone else's shirt.
