"Room 16, take corridor B, Down the stairs past the Ibis tapestry. Sliding bookcase after bookcase shows the way to the hall, up the pole, though a hole, to the waterfall." Donnie raps as Leo is beatboxing. "Donatello, with the book in his hands! Saves the day and proves to everyone that he's the man!" Then he is taken away by bats. "Po-po comes in and takes him away! But Donnie D will live to fight another day!"

That was the video Leo just sent me. I assume that Raph was filming because I heard his voice whisper at some point in the video. I was walking from the manhole I just came out of to the public library because I had run out of things to do, and read. Coincidentally, the turtles were at a mistic library. Anyways, I walked through the doors into the lovely smelling library. I took a deep inhale, I love the way it smells. Especially the books, even greater: the new books.

I hummed the song Donnie was singing in the video quietly while looking through the sections for something interesting. I was in the historical section when I noticed a book called, One Hundred Years of Solitude. I also saw interesting ones called, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, The Second Mrs. Astor, and Concrete Rose. I picked them all out of the shelves and carried them to the front to check them out with my library card.

"Ooh, these are good ones, do you have a school project? this one seems a little inappropriate for your age..." The librarian asked and held The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.

"No, I'm just reading them. And I can handle it, it seems interesting," I smiled politely. She smiled back and gave me the books in a bag. "Have a good day, Mrs. John-Ju."

"You too, y/n." She called back happily. I walked out of the Library with my smile dropping immediately.

Then I looked down at the bag of books in my arms and smiled again, hugging them tighter. I then walked down the ramp to the sidewalk, where I got a new video from Leo, where he and two Foot Clan guys were trying to make each other laugh, Raph was too. The big Foot guy was wiggling his butt with only underwear on it while Leo had a book in his mouth clucking like a chicken. Raph was jiggling his teeth, while the skinny and smaller Foot guy was making funny faces with his book. I snickered as I walked and watched.

I put my phone away, when I was approaching an alleyway that had a manhole to reenter the lair. Right before I was going to bend down and lift the manhole cover, someone cleared their voice from behind me. I instantly turned around and with an unbothered expression.

"Yes M/n?" I asked, crossing my arms, my bag in one hand still.

"Y/n, you are coming home with me now." She demanded.

"I am amused by your attempt at intimidation," I said walking closer until she backed up into a wall. "Because it is not working at all, you have no control over me."

"Yes I do, I am your mother, I gave-"

"Me life?" I asked with a small laugh. "You realize that I didn't have a say in that, right?"

"You should be grateful." She said, trying to seem tough.

"Oh Mommy! I am so grateful for you! You clothed me, and fed me, and gave me everything I wanted! Thank you so much for the greatest home environment any child would NEED." I mock with a sadistic smile. "Oh wait, you didn't." I whispered into her ear menacingly.

"I-"

"So, why don't you run your slutty ass out of my life and stop following and looking for me." I tell her pointing to the entrance of the alley way. She frowned.

"You're my daughter, I'm not giving up."

"Oh please, you would only do me a favor. And yourself." I say stepping back. "I have good friends that take care of me, love me even, or at least show me that they do."
