you'd woken up with Katsuki's foot in your face.  he'd stayed the night last night and you both slept on  opposite ends of your bed.

"morning loser," he says groggily as he softly kicks you in the face 

"get your toes out my face" you whine slapping his foot "you ready for today?" he asks sitting up on your bed and yawning .

"yea I'm ready to kick your ass" you snicker as he huffs "yea we'll see abt that one short stack" he glares at you.

*ding*

you hear your phone go off "kats check who that is would ya?" you ask yawning and rolling onto your stomach.

you hear him smack his lips as he picks up your phone.

"good luck today ill see you later with a heart emoji from the damn nerd" he rolls his eyes

"hand it to me," you say extending your arm towards him and reluctantly rolling off of your stomach.

"thanks izu you too," you say out loud as you type.

"bakugo y/n start getting ready ill make you both breakfast," your dad says knocking on your bedroom door

"your dad making breaking there's a first for everything" Katsuki stands up grabbing a uniform he kept in your closet in case he ever stayed the night. "ill change in the bathroom," he says walking into your bathroom and shutting the door

you pulled out a uniform from your closet changing quickly before katsuki walked out.

he walked out of the bathroom as you were trying to tie your tie dad normally tied it for you since you never learned  "you're so slow come here" he chuckles noticing you struggling.

he walked up to you and started fumbling with the piece of fabric around your neck. you stared at his crimson eyes they were your favorite thing about him the shade of red was stunning you could remain lost in his eyes forever and never complain. you examined every feature on his face from his eyebrows to his lips god you loved his lips.

you would've killed to feel his against your own even if just for a second. you began to blush realizing how close both of your bodies were.

you could see the rising and falling in his chest with every breath he took. he was so perfect everything about him made your insides so warm and fuzzy.   "there you g-" he cuts himself off realizing how close you were as well

he didn't move he just stood there and stared at you for a moment as blush began to flood his cheeks.

"HURRY UP" your dad screamed from downstairs

without saying anything both of you went and sat down at your breakfast table.

"I can't believe you're making breakfast," you said as he placed a plate with an egg a waffle, and sausage in front of you and a second one in front of katsuki.

"the festivals today you need energy before you both go and try to kill each other" he rolls his eyes sitting down and taking a sip of his coffee.

"you two are each other's biggest competition after all" he adds

"what do you mean?" you ask tilting your head in confusion

"you've been arguing about which of you were stronger since you could talk and you nearly killed each other during hero training" he sips his coffee again glaring at you.

"no, we didn't" katsuki protests rolling his eyes
"bakugo there is still a clearly visible burn mark on your shoulder" your dad glares at him.

"oh and y/n, endeavor will be there" he moves his vision toward your direction.

your eye's lit up with joy 

"ACTUALLY?!" you yell with excitement

"calm down its to early for your shit" katsuki groans

"yes actually you do know todorokis his son don't you?" Your dad questions looking a you

"he is?!?" you ask in shock "how the hell did you not know that "katsuki says turning to look at you.

you stick your tongue out at katsuki

"alright lets go" your dad says grabbing the keys off the counter.

"just admit it your rooting for me"   katsuki snickers to your dad from the back seat.

"I'm supposed to remain unbiased but yes its a little hard to not to when you're like a son to be bakugo" he sighs   as you three walk into the building together.

"I'm like a son to you?" katsuki asks slightly shocked 

"you practically haven't left my hosue since you had the ability to walk into it" your dad says as he walks  you  two to the room with the rest of the students before stopping outside the door.

"i want you both doing your absolute best today and I fully belive you two could win if you try hard enough i love you both now go get ready" he brings you both into a hug before pushing you inside.
your dad expressing his love like that was rare and your only ever seen him express his love for katsuki once or twice.

"ya know it was kinda pointless to put on uniforms if we were just gonna change the second we got here" you whine as you smack your forehead into bakugos back.

"dumbass i swear to god if you hit my back with your forehead one more time I'm gonna go ballistic." he says trying to hold in his anger .
He goes quiet for a second like he was thinking about something.

"actually y/n/n i need to talk to you" he says sounding extremely serious

"yeah whats up kats"  you say as he turns to look at you

" I'm not gonna holdback on you  today i going to win no matter what it takes like your dad said your my biggest competition and i'm going to prove i can beat you" he confesses  as most of the class watches

"i wont hold back either then" you say placing your hand on his shoulder and smiling

you knew how important it was to him to beat you rather then beating anybody else in this room but it was just as important to you to and you refused to lose
