Lending a Hand.

Note: In this fic, I will be using they/them pronouns for Mizuki.

The next day rolls by, Tsukasa hoped that Mizuki was here. They usually don't come to school but still have time to chat with him. Rui messaged Tsukasa that Mizuki would help them and would come to school to discuss about it. In the afternoon, he didn't see Rui at the rooftop, he assumed he was looking for Mizuki. Tsukasa couldn't help but smile, Rui must care a lot about them and his friends. Tsukasa was too focused on thinking about Rui, until he heard a voice that sounded familiar.

"Tsukasa-senpai, is that you?"

Tsukasa quickly turned his head around to see who it was. It was Mizuki. "Mizuki? What a surprise!" Tsukasa exclaimed. "Hehe~ I brought some people to help you and Rui!" Mizuki grinned. Tsukasa had a confused expression before seeing Toya Aoyagi and Akito Shinonome, his kouhai's. "We heard from Mizuki that you and Kamishiro-senpai need help." Akito grumbled, which earned him a nudge from Toya. "What he's trying to say is, we'd be happy to help you, senpai!" Toya added. He couldn't help but feel happy and guilt, he's making these three waste their time over something that's not important to them. "Don't worry, maybe this can help Rui realize your feelings towards him." Akito assured. Mizuki and Toya were about to scold Akito before Tsukasa gave them a smile. "I mean, we could use a helping hand." Tsukasa beamed. The trio looked at each other before settling into a group hug by Mizuki pulling the three of them into it.

"Oh dear, it seems I'm missing the fun."

The group didn't notice Rui walking in, standing there as if he didn't know what was going on. "Hey Rui! I brought Toya and Akito to help you guys!" Mizuki bubbled. Rui only gave them a nod before looking at Tsukasa. "Tomorrow, we'll start our plan." Rui advised. Tsukasa only nodded, not wanting to say something that he will regret. Rui and Mizuki started talking more deeper with the plan. Toya and Akito noticed how Tsukasa couldn't keep his eyes off the inventor. "Should we tell him?" Akito whispered. "No, he looks too focused on staring at him." Toya whispered back.

It wasn't really new to Toya, whenever he hung out with Tsukasa and Saki, the blonde would talk about Rui non-stop. Saki was really happy that her brother was in love. As for Toya, he didn't mind and was supportive of his senpai's crush. He was always supporting Saki and Tsukasa, they were the light in his life. The ones that helped him through life. Akito knew that the two siblings helped his boyfriend so he owes it to them. Although it was a surprise to him when he came over to the Tenma household instead of Toya's home. I mean the siblings were asking a bunch of questions of their relationship which as a result gave him an embarrassed Toya. Akito didn't mind their company (mostly Saki's). These were the people that helped his boyfriend through tough times.

Everything was going smoothly for the plan to work. Rui and Tsukasa decided the plan will start tomorrow. It was getting late and the four of them were getting ready to head off. The duo send off their goodbyes to them and walking off home together. Tsukasa said his goodbye to Rui and was greeted by his sister, Saki. "Big brother! Where have you been? Are you hurt? Did something happen?" worried Saki, checking to see if her brother was okay. "I'm okay! I was just hanging out with my friends!" Tsukasa soothed, patting her head. He made sure that he wasn't going anywhere which made his sister hugging him and saying goodnight to him.

Tsukasa was in his room, ready for bed. He couldn't sleep, maybe it was because he was gonna be able to "date" Rui. Imagining the "couple" stuff they would have to do. It made him turn red and smile at the same time. He drifts off to sleep, not wanting to worry his sister more. Hopefully this plan doesn't ruin the friendship the duo tried to hard to build.

Note: Yay, we finally meet Mizuki, Toya, and Akito (with Saki as well). Sorry for the delay, I've been struggling with ideas for the chapters and wanting these for you guys to enjoy. As always, I will see you guys in the next chapter! Also you can tell how I love Toya being a Tenma (or not).
