War smiled as Famine appeared through a portal, a woman and kid behind her.
"Hey! Who's this?" He asked, watching the kids' eyes light up as he looked up.
"Acacia and her brother Coda, thought it'd help transition the other humans better if I had human help." She explained, smiling as looked at them. War nodded before leading them to the camp which had grown.
"A few of the humans have decided to stay here, help us build and possibly start another town here. Or to watch over us considering the eyes of our elders were all teens." War explained, Famine laughing softly.
"That is very true, me and Fear are the oldest besides Death." She explained, Acacia smiled as she looked around, Coda rushing forward as he saw the other kids.
"Hey War! This must be Famine, and who are they?" Isac asked as he walked forward, shaking Famine's hand as Acacia stepped forward to shake it as well.
"Acacia, that's my little brother Coda." She introduced, smiling as she saw her brother talking with the other kids, one walking forward. She seemed older, smiling as she looked at War.
"Hey, is there anywhere we can place all their items for the transfer? Maybe then we can use those rooms for the ones left." She suggested to War who nodded goodbye to Famine and Acacia who talked with Isac. Walking to the tent, War thought about it.
"I think it's best if we remove the rooms. This tent is based pon magic, simple magic, yet still draining. The less rooms we have to worry about the better. Once a house gets built then we can start moving out of it. Otherwise help me grab their gear, I'm hoping we get them all moved by noon when the zombies rise." He explained, Roxy nodding. She noticed his change in attitude, how he seemed to have matured. It came out of nowhere but she didn't mind. His friend was in a coma and his brother isn't exactly the nicest. She walks back to the tent, pausing to look at Famine. She was a slim girl, nearly looking like a walking skeleton. She had dark black hair that was thick and beautiful contrasting her body's clear fatigue. Her eye's had a kind look and a big smile. She wore a pair of baggy pants and a crop top, showing her paper thin stomach.
"It's not nice to stare." Roxy jumped, looking up at her father Isac. She bowed her head before looking back to Famine who was talking with the rest of the humans.
"She's beautiful despite her fatigued look. I don't understand how." Isac smiled, petting his daughter's head.
"Being yourself is always more beautiful than pretending to be pretty. Famine has a good heart, it makes her beautiful.""She's disgusting." A woman complained, looking into the vision, her leader laughing loudly.
"Yes, she is. But we need her to break! You know the plan." He said, petting the woman's head before grabbing her chin, growling.
"Don't fuck it up." She nods, fear in her eyes as she bows before rushing away. A dark chuckle comes from the corner of the room, an old being walking forward, strings hanging from his back, horns adoring his head and a wicked smirk.
"Don't act scary, it ruins the real fear." He told the man who rolled his eyes.
"That's cheap coming from a man who's supposed to be immortal." The man responded before crying out, blood gushing from his side. A growl emitted as the man shook.
"Do not forget who gave you your army of soldiers. Or helped you steal the power of death! I did!" He yelled before healing the man's wounds.
"You are but a child learning Kit, but your pride will ruin everything." Kit scowled, looking down. A chuckle was heard again along with the sound of a cane, Kit looking up to see his mentor banging his cane to a beat loudly on the ground, only to hear the soldiers outside start to bang their weapons to the beat.
"Until they follow your rhythm they'll follow mine. You must prove your right to control them. Now, I must rest." Kit watched his mentor walk out, glaring with hate.
"Master." A small woman walked up to the old man, a concerned look on her face.
"I heard yelling, can I help with anything?" The old man shook his head.
"Get packed, we're starting early." Her eyes widened, freezing. She wasn't ready, this mission was too much of a risk this early. Turning she rushed to catch up to her master, worry all over her face.
"This soon?!" She asked, the old man nodding.
"Kit is too prideful, he hasn't accepted fate as quickly as I hoped. I will take things into my own hand until I know he's ready. This mission will prove fatal if executed correctly. Not only that there is growth in the world. That damned child of Death, she's close to learning her real name. I fear the day she does." The women looked at him confused as he paused, looking at a painting. The painting had a beautiful woman with blue and tan wings, ice and death surrounding her.
"Death is a scary truth, life is a wonderful lie. But fallen angels were beautiful lies that became scary truths, and they are the deadliest of all." The woman looked at the painting before shaking her head.
"That girl couldn't be one! The legend isn't supposed to come true for aeons!" The man laughed, his voice raspy.
"Where she lives, the time zone is different. If we do not succeed in three human years, we will all perish. Now leave me." The woman nods, walking away to get packed and ready for the next step in the apocalypse; famine.
