War panted as he sat in the shade, the heat was blazing and being in darker clothing it didn't help. Looking around he didn't know what to do. There was nothing in the town, Rox must have grabbed everything.
"Need to keep moving." He slowly stood, placing his hand on the wall. His head was pounding as he swayed while walking, vision kept going in and out. His stump had stopped bleeding, thankfully there were curtains he could wrap his hand with, but even then it was soaked in now dry blood. Swaying he pushed away from the building, stepping into the torturous sun, everything was moving. The heatwaves made everything look like it was dancing, War groaning as it all made his head worse.
"Need to keep moving..." He mumbled, each step getting smaller and smaller, and each breath getting longer and harder. Besides his hard breaths nothing else could be heard. There were no animals to be heard, no wind, no nothing. Just dried land and heat. War, regretting his choices, turned to go back, but there was no town. His eyes widened, stumbling forward a few steps, the horror setting in. Something wasn't right, was he asleep? Bringing his hand he grabbed his stump, crying out in pain. No, he wasn't asleep, but Pride seemed to be strong in magic.
"Shit." His eyes became heavy as his body slumped, collapsing to the cold ground.5:56:45
"GAH!" He shouted out, reaching as he sat up, groaning as his stump hit the snow. He looked around, shaking from the cold already. He was just in a desert, why is he in the mountains? He pulled his coat on tighter, shivering as he stood up and looked around. Now he couldn't see, snow was everywhere. The wind cut into his exposed skin and he felt the tingles of losing feeling in his wound, he felt his toes start to freeze and his eyes were becoming harder to open.
"Shelter, find it, come on." He mumbled, starting to move again. He's in the mountains, there has to be a cave or just somewhere he can hide from the wind. He didn't understand why every step felt like his skin was being ripped from the bottom of his feet, why he felt the wind cut into his skin and through his body, making the already sizzling pain from being poisoned worse. This had to be magic, there was no doubt. Shivering he felt his eyes getting hard to open, the ice covered them with a burning feeling, but that's when he saw it. A cave, and he felt a fire light in him. If he could reach it, maybe he'd be able to start his own fire, maybe he could survive this hell. But that's when he felt the rumble.
"What the fuck?" He asked, but he couldn't see, his eyes were open but he still couldn't see, then his body burned. Screaming out he squirmed and cursed, wishing for it to go out. Then the rumble turned to a laugh, and the laughing got louder and louder. Then there was more, and War wanted to die.
"Stop it! Stop it please!" He screamed, but his body was dunked underwater, clogging his voice, the burning still there. He thrashed in the water, but no sound was heard, his screams turned silent. Water filled his throat and lungs, there were no longer bubbles appearing from his mouth. His body shook from the pain, but slowly it faded and he was dragged from the water. Laying on the ground he coughed for a good while, trying to get air again.5:54:15
"Th-thank you." He aired out looking up to see who had saved him, smiling as he saw Rox.
"God, I'm glad to see you." He spoke some more, coughing up the last of the water trapped in his body.
"I hate you." Her words were as bad as the icy wind he fought. His body froze before he slowly stood and turned to look down at her.
"What?" She frowned, taking a step forward while he took one back, fear filling his body as he listened to her words.
"I hate you. You're nothing! You're the reason Father is in a coma! You're the one who caused all this trouble! I hate you!" War's eyes filled with tears as guilt plagued him. He did help with the start, and he did nothing to save Death.
"Rox-" he was cut off, crying out as he felt a dagger through his back, but upon looking down nothing was there, yet it happened again, War hissing out as he fell to his knees. He looked up at Rox, confused.
"Rox why?" He asked as she stepped back, and War watched as Conquest walked in front of her, protecting her.
"You're a monster! Stay away from her!" War slowly stood, reaching forward with his stu-hand. He looked down, his wounds, his hand. They were back, but something wasn't right.
"Conquest, please trust me!" He shouted out, scared as he watched his brother lift his battle ax.
"Don't! You killed them! You killed all of them!" Conquest yelled. War heard the cries, turning he saw Acacia holding Coda and her baby, now grown into a kid, crying above the disembowelled body of Famine. Shaking, he rushed to see her before hearing the screaming of another one of his siblings.
"Stay away from her!" He looked to his side, seeing Fear barely standing, face half gone, fingers gone, and holes in his body.
"Fear... what, what happened?!" He cried out, shaking as he held his head. Conquest laughed before growling angrily.
"You know damn well what happened! Traitor!" War cried as he shook his head, mumbling.
"How, how, how! This isn't me, stop it. Stop it! It's not real, not real, not REAL!" War cried, flames exploding from his body, wiping everything away. Panting he fell to his knees, letting out a piercing scream.
"Make it end! MAKE IT FUCKING END!" He screeched, his voice becoming raspy, throat burning. A laugh was heard and he looked up to see a shorter woman, her hand grabbing his chin.
