Elle walked slowly and tiredly as Rylan grew more excited the closer they got.
"We're almost there!" Elle sighed and jogged to catch up to him when he disappeared into a bunch of leaves.
"Rylan, wait up." Elle gasped for air only to stop breathing at the view she walked into at the other side.
"Holy crap." Rylan exclaimed, "We found it."
Hesitantly, Elle and Rylan walked inside, Elle holding sage and Rylan lavender, for good spirits. They walked deeper and deeper into the cave, when they heard sobbing, and stopped for a second.
"You don't think?" Rylan mumbled, but Elle was ahead of him, too intrigued to stop.
At the end of the save, there stood a man, he was bare chested, in nothing but pants, his wings were black as night but seemed to shimmer, and his sobs were heart broken, and lost.
"Kalona.." Elle whispered. His head whipped up and his eyes were gold and beautiful. They entrapped Elle and Rylan like they were hypnotized.
"How did you find me?" his voice dripped like chocolate, but it was also raw from tears of centuries past. "Can you help me?" he mumbled.
Snapped out of the trance like state, Elle answered, "What you did was wrong, warrior of Nyx. It was wrong, and disgusting. You let your immortality, and your anger get in the way of your true life. You are supposed to protect, not hurt Nyx's children."
Elle's voice didn't sound like hers. It sounded stronger, and held more wisdom. Kalona seemed to recognize this and his eyes once again filled with tears.
"I am sorry,." he croaked.
