I Clear Up Worlds Filled With Reincarnators

Chapter 3

Alex opened his eyes to see leaves of green falling down from the three as the sun's rays went through the gaps, he sat up and found himself on top of a hill under a tree in the middle of nowhere. Alex looked around his surroundings to a large grassy field with hills and trees, he stood up as he shook his hair until the system appeared.

『 Hello, Agent Alex 』

"System, where's the nearest civilization from my location?" Alex asked immediately as the system instantly made an extremely detailed real time bird's eye view map for him within seconds.

『 The nearest civilization is a small village in the North, the village has a small farm where you can purchase a horse to use to travel to the nearest capital which is the capital of the second largest Empire of this world. The Ugrus Empire, would you like to know the Empire's history? 』

"No, it's a waste of time." Alex instantly declined. "I want to know what dangers I might face going to the village and to the capital."

The system showed multiple monster camps on the map, in this world monsters form small tribes or form large ones under a powerful monster to command them. Usually monsters are peaceful towards other monsters, but there are times where monster tribes fought each other for control, supplies or a way to survive in this harsh world controlled by lesser level Gods, and the self-proclaimed "Demon Lord" who is just a spoiled brat Alex can easily defeat without lifting a finger.

『 It is recommended to use gear above rank D+ as monsters showed in the map are relatively weak compared to Agent Alex 』

A wooden crate appeared in front of Alex, he opened the crate to find equipment, weapons, and clothes that are similar to medieval times. Alex grabbed the things inside of the wood and put them on, in actuality Alex doesn't really rely on his abilities to fight because he's too overpowered and that would remove the challenge and excitement of fighting. Alex only uses his abilities when time needs them, which is super rare, but if he does use them, it's going to be one massive loss to Alex's enemies.

Alex puts the sword inside of the scabbard along with the dagger below it; he does look like an adventurer within the ranks of C+ to B before leaving. Alex used his ability to burn the wooden box until it was turned to ashes as he walked away.

[Few moments later…]

Alex was walking on a dirt path that was in the middle of a forest, trees and bushes covered the sides as Alex continued to walk casually like he wasn't worried if something jumped him. Suddenly, goblins came out from bushes and dropped down from trees. Alex stopped walking as he was surrounded in every direction.

『 8 normal goblins and 2 evolved goblins capable of casting rank D- magic. What is going to be your action, Agent Alex? 』

"This is a waste of time." Alex muttered as he placed his hand on his sword's handle and slowly took it out while his glowed.

[Two hours later…]

Alex arrives at the small village without a scratch on him, he enters the village to find it quite peaceful and not really quiet as the sounds of the locals talking with each other, vendors shouting out to attract customers, and children playing around. Alex wouldn't be surprised if the locals knew each other, he approached an elderly woman who was watering her plants.

"Excuse me, may I ask you a question?" Alex said with a gentle tone and a fake smile on his face, the elderly woman didn't know it was a fake smile since it was very convincing.

"Of course, young man, are you a traveler?" The elderly woman asked and noticed Alex's weapon. "Oh? An adventurer? What rank are you, young man?"

"I'm rank C." Alex lied. "Is there a place where I can purchase a horse? Some goblins scared my previous horse away."

"Oh there is, there's a farm nearby where you can purchase the best horses in the village." The elderly woman said.

"Thank you." Alex said as he faked a smile before walking away.

[Few hours later…]

Alex was near the capital city of the Ugrus Empire, he jumped off the horse as he spanked it on the rear causing it to feel mild pain, but enough pain to cause it to run away as Alex saw a group of horses pass by. He does hope the horse he purchased will go with the group and run away to the sunset or get brutally killed and eaten by monsters in the area. There's no happy ending in this world, only the strong can live while the weak die.

Alex walked the remaining meters to the one of many main gates of the capital city, where he had to pay 3 silver coins, worth 300 bronze coins, to enter the massive capital. It was already night time when Alex arrived, he was greeted by bright lights, streets filled with crowds, and generally a nice vibe with great aesthetic. Alex proceeded to head to the red district where it was filled with matured aura. Brothels, prostitutes, and other mature things are everywhere. Alex heads inside to some motel and gets a room for only 1 silver coin, worth 100 bronze coins, since motels in the red district are usually cheaper than other areas of the capital.

Alex enters his room and surprisingly, the room was really clean and smelled quite nice for a motel in the red district. Alex sits down on the bed as the system appears.

『 Agent Alex, our target is in the capital city 』

"Where?" Alex asked.

『 Unsurprisingly, he is inside of the palace of the Emperor of the Ugrus Empire. I assumed that he got the daughter of the Emperor falling for him and the Emperor gave his blessings to marry his daughter 』

"That is how these reincarnation things work in fantasy worlds." Alex said. "Anything else?"

『 There is a competition tomorrow, our target is going in 』

"Typical reincarnation anime plot." Alex said as he shook his head.

Alex hears someone knocking on the door, he stood up from the bed as the system disappeared as Alex approached the door before opening it. There was a beautiful woman in revealing clothing standing in the hall as Alex smiled at her. Alex might as well enjoy himself while being here for the meantime.
