Cora's Wish
I sat in the corner of the foam cushioned room with my soft robe on. I was technically illegal, I'm not supposed to exist. I was supposed to go out into the world and live a normal life but they trapped me in the "looney bin" as everyone here seemed to call it. I don't know why I'm here. I looked up as nurse Jen came in to the room to give me my daily shots, she looked at me,"How have you been, Cora?"
I know if I don't say anything she won't give me my shots. So, I decide to just stare at her until she left. She finally left 5 minutes after she vents to me, she does this everyday, I really don't mind a the juicy details. All I do is sit in my room with my food, I get 24/7 food service, if I want food all I have to do is ring a little bell and they let me choose from a bunch of different food, all I have to do is point at the food I want and they give it to me. All of the sudden the sirens start going off, I look around at the flashing lights in my room, I just sit still. Someone comes into my room and grabs my hand, "Come on Cora we have to get you downstairs there is an intruder in the building" I could tell it was Nurse Jen, she sounded really worried. I had no clue what was going on and then everything went black.
