Wrapped Up In My Lies

The next day

I visit my little sister at my house her names Emily-Rose

I plays barbies with her which surprisingly was quite fun

I remember playing with them when I was little

She also wanted her hair French plaited so I did her hair and painted her nails

We were having fun until she said

"I miss mummy"

"I know you do but hey we don't need her, I promise I will visit you twice a week". I replies. "

YAY" Emily-rose says

I look at the time it's already 8:30pm

"Now time for bed". I say to her with a cheeky smile

I tucked her into bed and kissed her forehead

I shut the door

I exhale and head downstairs to my uncle who now lives in my old house.

"She still misses Rosalie" My uncle says  (Rosalie is the women at her work for you readers)

"I know but she'll forget about her soon" I reply

"don't worry about her she's safe with me" My Uncle says

"I know uncle, I just don't want my mother or Rosalie coming for her" I say

"I know she visited you but don't let that affect you". My Uncle says

"I'm trying not too but she had an earpiece, I was actually happy to see her, I missed her and she was talking to someone else probably telling people information on me" I say

"They could kill me uncle they could take Zade away from me again I can't cope with that" I stated

My uncle hugs me

"She's your mother she won't hurt you" my uncle reassures me

I sigh "I guess, I gotta go, I have early start tomorrow,  as I haven't worked in the office for over two weeks"I say to him

My Uncle nods

I hug him one last time and leave

I arrive at our new home

We decided to keep everything the way it was at everything was already beautifully laid out

Zade was bored as he had to stay home from work that day

"Hey you look stressed shall we go for a swim in our new pool to relax a bit" he suggests

I nod

I change into a bikini and we make our way out to the pool

We sit on the side and dip our feet in and I tell him about my day

"I don't think your mum would do anything to hurt you mi amore" he tells me as I rest my head on his shoulder

"That's what my uncle said but I don't know o haven't seen her in a while and it was like she was waiting for me to tell her some key information" I tell him

"I know but I'm proud of you for being so strong darling " he reassures me

"Skinny dipping?" He asks me

I laugh and take off my bikini and he takes his shorts off

We get in the pool and kiss

When I'm with him it's like nothing else matters

Like all the stress from today has just faded away

Just from seeing him

He makes me so happy

He's recovering really well which makes me even happier because I don't want him to be in pain anymore

2 hours later

We get out of the pool and chuck some pjs on

We lay on the sofa cuddling

We end up falling asleep on the sofa

The next morning

I wake up early and get dressed for work

I make breakfast for me and save some for Zade

I write a note for him saying I've left for work but I've made him breakfast and leave

I feel guilty leaving him as he's still on home rest as he's not 100% well enough to go back to solving cases yet

But I have to go back to work as they need me

3 hours later

It was finally lunch time

Thank god I'm starving

I leave the office to go to the shop to buy some lunch

And see Zade with flowers

"I know you're having a tough time recently so I brought you flowers" he says

I blush and walk up to him and kiss him and take the flowers out of his hand

Roses my favourite of course

"They smell amazing thank you" I say smiling

I go to kiss him again when a police officer interrupts

"Excuse me are you Amira?" The officer asks me

"Yes that's me?" I reply confused

Zade turns around to look at the officer

"You need to come with me to the station to answer a few questions" The officer tells me

"What why?" I ask

"I cannot answer any of your questions till we are at the station Ma'am" the officer replies

I exhale and Zade tells me he is going to come with me
