Sherlock sobbed into his brother's shoulder. "Why would you do that.... WHY?!" Mycroft jumped slightly at this, struggling to put his arm round the small frame of his little brother. "Sherlock?" He struggled gasping for air finding himself breathless.

Sherlock didn't want to admit it was his fault that Mycroft was knocked over, he wanted to blame anyone else anything else. Sherlock teared up again cling onto his brother, not wanting his parents to come back, or the doctor, he didn't want to know what was wrong.

"It's ok Sherlock." He winced pulling his other arm round Sherlock.

"Sherlock!" Sherlock ran ahead of his brother laughing and giggling. "YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME!" Mycroft struggled not slipping on the ice and to keep up wheezing trying to catch his breath.

Mycroft's head was a blur, he still wasn't sure what had happened, he just tried to calm his brother. "It's ok." The door creaked open as bf he saw his parents again stood there his dad teary eyed a doctor stood behind the pair. Sherlock pushed his head into Mycroft's shoulder, Mycroft having a surge of pain threw his arm and chest pushing his head against his pillow not wanting to upset Sherlock anymore then he was.

The doctor walked in his parents now behind him, stood away from the bed the doctor walking closer taping Sherlocks shoulder. "Excuse me... can you get up for me th-" "NO!" "Sherlock... listen to the doctor, please." Mycroft needed Sherlock off his shoulder the pain was unbearable. "No." His head snapped up clinging to Mycroft, making him yelp out of pain, Sherlock's weight shifting on top his collar bone. Sherlock jumped back off the bed panicked and worried. "Mycie?" He gasped for air feeling as if he'd just been stabbed in the chest.

"Sherlock its ok. Just do as the doctor says... please." Sherlock nodded running to his mummy hugging her sobbing still, peering at Mycroft, who the doctor was siting up, making Mycroft wince, his whole body hurt and ached he just wanted to sink back in the pillows, the pain was swallowing him, he was vulnerable in front others, fist time since he got Sherlock did he slip.

He kept running after Sherlock. "Sherlock please come back here!" The snow in the air chilled Mycroft to the bone Sherlock had his coat and had ran with it. He giggled to himself holding his brothers coat running away with it. "You'll have to catch me!" He kept running his hair covered in snow, he smiled seeing his breath in the air.

Sherlock could hardly watch guilt hitting hard seeing Mycroft struggle, yelping at almost any touch, they'd shown up earlier this morning as they'd got a call that said Mycroft woke up, Sherlock was ecstatic till he saw him. "Mummy... he'll be fine... right?" She nodded watching the doctor, and Mycroft.

Pain wracked his body with each movement when the doctor finally stopped letting him lie down he was struggling for air as if someone stood on his chest, the doctors eyes trailing his body, before looking back to Mycroft's face, he was flushed. "Can you describe what you feel?" Mycroft paused catching his breath. "I... pain in my chest, and abdominal pain that feels like being stabbed-" he gasped every few words."-...emm pain along my right arm and leg manly... my left leg is... numb?" The doctor stepped back pity looking at the boy in front him.

"Ok we'll look into that... what do you last remember?" Mycroft lent his head back. "Going out in the town with Sherlock, we were at a toy shop last, i got him a microscope." Sherlock clung tighter to his mother. "So you don't know why you here?" "No." Mycroft hopped this meant the doctor would tell him.

Sherlock ran across the road holding Mycroft's coat when he heard the screech of car brakes behind him getting his attention as he whipped on his heals, and there lay Mycroft, blood pooling around his body people gathering around him. Sherlock rushed pushing past everyone, tearing up his knees folding as he fell next to his brother shaking him. Nothing. "HELP HIM! Please help him!"

"You were hit by a car." Mycroft could only nod speechless. The doctor didn't stay much longer and left the family alone, Sherlock perched hovering over Mycroft his face tear stained. "I'm so so-" "Sherlock don't be sorry it's Mycroft's fault." Mycroft just lay there holding Sherlocks hand. "IT ISN'T! IT'S MY FAULT" "oh dont be ridiculous." Sherlock was going to start again when Mycroft tugged his hand slightly making Sherlock look back to him. "Leave it Sherlock... please." Sherlock nodded.

Their mother didn't stay long after that leavening to meet someone their dad staying sitting on a chair nexts to the bed. "Is there anything i can get you boys?" Mycroft waited for Sherlock answer as he always wanted something when offered. "Em...Sweets?" Their father nodded looking to Mycroft, am i aloud sweets?" "Well, the doctor said there's no dietary restrictions, to their knowledge at lest." Mycroft smiled sitting himself up a bit. "Please can I have sweets then?" Their dad nodded getting up. "Sherlock don't leave this room ok, remember if anything goes wrong, the button." Sherlock nodded cozying up to Mycroft.

Their dad walked out leaving the pair together. "I'm so sorry Mycroft." Sherlock hugged Mycroft gently scared to hurt him. "Sorry for what?"

Sherlock put Mycroft's coat under his head tears streaming down his face holding his hand watching people try to help others saying someone had gone to a phone box. "Please be ok."

"I shouldn't of ran off." "Sorry I'm not sure what you mean?" Sherlock started tearing up. "I-I took the your coat... and then ran off you... ran after me and... and I ran over a road... it just ... I just turned around and you were... you were just there." Mycroft put an arm round his brothers small frame. "It's ok... it's not your fault I mustn't of looked." "No I should off given you your coat back." "Ok... it's ok now I'll get better." Sherlock cried into Mycroft's chest till he heard Mycroft yelp, making him shoot up looking down on Mycroft seeing him wincing. "Mycie... what hurts... what is it?" "Just... just my left leg... no longer numb... hurts a lot." "Do I need to get anyone?" "No... I'll be fine." Sherlock gently cozied back up to Mycroft pulling his arm round him.

"It's all ok... I don't blame you." Sherlock nodded drying his tears on Mycroft's gown. "See when you come tomorrow can you bring me a blanket, this ward is freezing."

Sherlock sobbed into his hands in the ambulance listening to the paramedics, the ride felt to long felt like hours, all he could do was cry.

"Of course." The pair stayed cuddled up Sherlock trying to pull the thin blanket round his older brother, cuddling back up, till there dad came back with there sweets Sherlock still holding Mycroft's hand took them, putting them on the bed for the pair to share. "Everything alright." "Kinda." Sherlock dipped his head. "Did something happen?" "It's nothing, just can feel my left leg now, which is good but em it fu- really hurts." "Language Mycroft." "I know."

The both boys tucked into there sweets there dad pinching some every now and then.

Siting there on his own waiting for his parents his heart is throat chocking him out, what had he done. He clung to Mycroft's coat crying into it. Did he just kill his brother.

Mycroft was in the hospital for 3 months and got out on crutches as his left leg was still weak and broken.

"MYCIE!" It was the first Sherlock had seen him standing on his own with out someone faffing round him. He hugged his brother tight, getting a gently arm round him and a crutch end biting his ankle every now and then as it swung from his arm.

Sherlock cuddled up to his brother I'm car, smiling like a pup. "I made you something." Sherlock practically whispered. Mycroft had a arm round his little brother. "Oh really what is it?" "You'll see when we're home." Mycroft nodded chuckling.

At home awaited a cake Sherlock made for Mycroft.
