Our horrendous adventure began with a young man of below average height, or that's what he calls it. Though everyone knows he just doesn't want to admit to being short, I mean honestly, this guy is in his mid twenties and how tall is he? 160cm, approximately, or was it less than that? Well his height doesn't really matter when he bites before anyone can comment.

He walked diligently with his older sister behind him; his beautiful robes of scarlet red flying behind him with the breeze as he took each step, but rather than being the fragrant and lovely rose he made out to be, he was in fact the thorn poking out the stem. This thorn that pricks you when you least expect it.

He looked around and caught someone staring, his face changed from just cold to an icy glare as he spat, "staring won't give you the power to see through my clothes, yes, you could look this good too, if you got off your fat buttocks every once in a while," he looked forward again, "Now move along, looking at you is giving me an eye strain," he said, resuming his march. His sister quickly put her hands together at the victim in remorse.

"A-Kei! That person has done nothing to you, so why must you torment them as if they have?" she asked.

He flipped around, walking backwards, "sure they have, they were staring at me, is that not enough of a reason?" The woman sighed and continued pushing him along.

They walked right by another extravagant scene. A young woman sat atop a local street vendor's market stall with her leg partially showing under her robe. This woman was quite the looker, she had some kind of powder on her face and the bangs of her hair were snowy white.

She spoke in a low, seductive voice, "awe come on, how much did you say that was again? It really is too much for a simple maiden like me, can't you lower the price..?" she leaned in closer, "just the tiniest bit?" Her eyelashes fluttered right up to his own before backing away. He didn't move, almost as if he were in a trance. She brought her hand up and showed the back of it to the man, "wouldn't you just love to lay your lips on this dainty, soft skin?" The man went to touch her hand but she drew back sharply, "uh uh, I don't go for free, what are you willing to give?"

"T-take this, take this!" He held about a hundred coins in his hand. The maiden slowly took it from him, tracing his palm with her finger, before finally retreating to the ground. She quickly walked away with the money and the item. As she trotted she heard the wails of someone in the streets, leading her to walk even faster.

The dramatic wails came from a lady who sat on the road, a man was walking from her, "wait!" She called, my feet can't take me any further! Please don't leave me here to fend for myself!" Her cries quickly brought a crowd's attention. The man whom she was calling to was already long gone.

"What's wrong young maiden?" Someone amidst the crowd asked, stepping forward.

"It's my husband, he doesn't love me! He left me here alone after beating me down.." she cried, putting a hand to her face.

"Why would you marry a man such as this?"

She replied between sobs, "it..wasn't my choice..it was an arranged marriage!" She continued, "He doesn't love me..and he never will.."

"How tragic!"

"That's just awful!"

Someone jumped out of their buggy and offered a hand, "maiden! I can take you to your destination!" The lady took the hand given to her and stepped into the buggy, her eyes still pricked with tears.

"Oh thank you, thank you! You have no idea just how much this means to me! I'm heading to the archery competition actually, would you be ever so kind as to take me there?" She asked politely, wiping a tear from her cheek.
