"Not like that Y/N" Neteyam groans in frustration and you blush embarrassed.

The Olo'eyktan's eldest son had been assigned to teach you- a fresh avatar- the way of the Omaticaya people. He was a strong archer and was chosen to teach you how to be one too. Only problem was- he didn't like you. You were alien. Even though his father had the same history as yours- it was annoying that he had to be stuck training a literal toddler to the Na'vi world.

"Strong-" he repeated- a hard hand on his stomach to emphasize his words, "-here. I've told you so many times now, come on."

"It's not my fault I've never used a bow and arrow jeez." You mutter cracking your neck and bringing your weapon up again trying to copy his stance but you obviously didn't do it right because Neteyam curses into his palm.

"Oh my Eywa, are you really so slow?"

You gape at him annoyed- "You think I'll understand when you're standing opposite to me? You're a shit teacher you know."

"Yeah yeah its my fault isn't it." He scoffs walking towards you so he's directly behind and you swallow.

"Can I-" he starts and you realize he wanted to demonstrate in a different way. You nod- cheeks flushed as he steps behind you and you hold your breath at the feeling of his chin ghosting above your left shoulder.

"Okay bring the bow up again." He states and you do- ears flicking when his braids brush your neck, He places his right palm on your stomach wholly and you suck in a surprised gasp.

He presses down on your stomach a bit making you jump, "Co operate Y/n." he sighs and you shake out of your daydream nodding, "Okay breath in. Deep." You do but you find it hard to breath out realizing his palm was big enough to cover the whole of your stomach.

"Y/n?" Neteyam almost yells and you curse apologizing.

"Lost you already? Either I'm too boring for you or you're a bigger skxawng than my brother."

You ignore the insult breathing in further- but then the boy's left hand rests on the location of your floating ribs and any sense of self dignity you had was lost when you find yourself zoning out again.

"See how when you breath in- your lungs expand?" he explains intently and you feel bad for barely being able to focus, "-yeah keep it like that. When you breath- you should feel it here." You blink when his hand presses down a little on your rib cage and you suddenly feel like you'll pass out.

"Y/n breath out." His voice rings in your ear and snap back into consciousness and he lets go stepping back exasperated-

"You know- you're dumber than those little kids back at the village. Do I really have to tell you to goddamn breath out?"

You glare at him- face flushed- "I'm stupid? I've been doing the same exact thing. You just find a problem in every fucking thing I do because you don't like me."

"What does that have to do with anything?" he asks in disbelief.

"I'm sick of you yapping at every little thing I do! My form was right and you find a way to shit on that as well, well guess what- I don't even need you. I could get someone else to teach me if I wanted to. I can figure it out myself."

His face changes- pupils narrowing into slits, jaw clenched and his gaze is menacing. Before you know it his fingers are wrapped tight around your arm as he drags you further into the forest ignoring your struggle to break away. He stops in front of a clearing- both of your ears perking up at the sound of creatures.
