———Ayato Aishi

"Hi Sweet boy", My mother greeted me as she put the table ware away in the kitchen. "Sorry I missed dinner." She shook her head, she didn't spare me a glance, "Don't worry about it, boys will be boys. Although a heads up would be nice" I nodded, squinting my eyes at her. She seemed mad but she didn't sound it..
She finally looked up from the dinner table, finished cleaning and gave me a blank stare, "I see you visited Mrs. Yumi." And she gave me a smile just like said hair dresser, but this smile had a different meaning, a meaning beyond my knowledge.
I twirled a piece of my hair with my index finger nervously and decided to not even attempt to converse with her. I was dead tired and I had a lot on my mind. "I'm gonna go to bed, night Mom"
"You haven't had dinner yet though", She watched me walk up the stairs, "I'm not hungry" I responded..

I felt nervous, mostly about the reactions to my haircut. Ayano said she liked it but my worry persisted. I took my shoes off and switched them with the indoor shoes.
"Hi Aishi-Kun and Aishi-Chan!," Fumetsu-Chan came up from behind to greet us with Osano. "Hi, Fumetsu-Chan" Ayano gave her best fake smile and it made me think, didn't I tell Fumetsu-Chan to just call me by Ayato? I must've forgotten...
Fumetsu-Chan twirled her hair as she talked, "The bake sale is coming up real soon! I can't wait to taste those treats!" Osano looked to the right, to the left, once again, just like yesterday. Ayano agreed and kept Fumetsu-Chan talking some more, I looked to Osano, "Are you okay?" I spoke in a soft tone, trying not to spook him.
"Huh? Yeah I'm good, just a bit tired" He shuffled his feet. He's not very believable. Though, he looked at me fully, and once he did, his eyes brightened. Just like they did when I expressed a positive reaction to Destroy Boys.
"I like your hair" Osano's hand reached to touch my hair but he immediately stopped, most likely an impulsive decision. "Thanks." I forced a smile as I scratched the back of my head.

"Anyway, wish I could stay and chat but me and Osano gotta go." Fumetsu-Chan waved to Ayano and me, leaving with Osano by her side like a lost puppy. I watched them until they were out of my sight and waited a couple more seconds. "God.. did you see Osano's eyebags?" Ayano was quickly at my side in seconds, whispering in my ear. I looked into the distance, staring holes into Osano's back, "I did...", I barely muttered, the words slipping off my tongue.
"What do you think is wrong with him..? Abusive family? No, that's not right, no marks." Ayano theorized. "Why don't we spy on them..?" Her voice got quieter in an instant. I switched from the disappearing Osano to Ayano, my lips parted. "What..?" I breathlessly asked her. She gave me no reaction, "Well, he won't tell you what's wrong obviously, you two haven't known each other very long." She gripped the strap to my school bag, I resisted the urge to shake her off. I felt like I'd have a bad conscious over my head if I did that.. my thoughts recalled what Mrs. Yumi said. It was either this or...
"Okay.." I muttered. For the greater good.

"See you at the rooftop in a couple minutes, 'Yato!" Ayano smiled widely, walking away from me quickly. I squeezed my eyes shut at the nickname.
I smiled and nodded nervously. We walked in opposite directions, I followed Osano and Fumetsu-Chan. I reached the second floor and put my hand on the wall of the stairs, focusing my hearing. Fumetsu and Osano were making their way slowly to the third floor and up to the rooftop, I followed quietly. A student council glanced at me, the one with blue hair. She watched me from down the stairs and turned back, hands in her pants pocket. I ignored her, it was nothing new with them.
As I made my way up, I heard their footsteps get louder, practically telling me to slow down, that I might get caught. I waited a few seconds, the footsteps got quieter and I resumed my journey. I walked through the rooftop doors and froze as quiet as I could when I heard Fumetsu-Chan's voice behind one of the radiators.
I hid behind it and pulled my phone out, staring at my reflection in the screen to make it seem like I was scrolling through my phone. I concentrated my hearing once more.
"Any luck?" Fumetsu's voice changed into a softer tone compared to what she spoke towards Ayano and me with.
"No...", God, Osano sounded absolutely drained, his voice cracked slightly and I could hear the desperation.
"Have you tried contacting the police?"
"I can't! She'll hurt her.." He quivered, "She stalks me on everything, social media, games and even pictures of me..."
"Osano.. this is highly illegal!" Fumetsu-Chan expressed, "I don't know what I'm gonna do... I don't know.." His voice trembled in response. Poor guy.
"And she's only 3! She's just a kitten!" My heart nearly stopped when he said that she was 3, assuming it had been a toddler his stalker took, I calmed immediately when it was revealed that it had been a kitten. What 3 year old cat was a kitten..? Usually they'd be at least a little older.. But what did I know? I didn't have any pets.

To my knowledge so far, Osano had a stalker, presumably an adult woman, who took Osano's cat. I took a step forward and walked into the hall that led down the stairs. I walked into the other side of the rooftop where Ayano was waiting for me.
"What'd you find?" She muttered to me after I sat in front of her on the benches. "Osano's being stalked.." I spoke solemnly, being stalked didn't sound great.. "His stalker is holding his cat hostage.."
"What are you gonna do about it?" Ayano asked, compassionate-less.
I shrugged. We stayed silent for a bit. Watching as the leaves blew out of trees and clouds moving ever so slightly, how our hair would flow gently with the wind. Then I had an idea.
I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and clicked on a social media app that I knew Osano had. I figured that if he was on social media then chances are she'd be following him. "You have any hacker friends by chance?" I asked and Ayano thought for a moment.
"I have a source... What do you need help with?" I typed in 'Najimi Osano' in the search bar and swiped down the page until I saw Osano's face, posing with Fumetsu-Chan. I clicked on his profile and clicked on his followers list. He didn't have many follows but he didn't have too little. Everyone that followed him was either someone from school or family members. Except for one.
My eyebrow twitched when I saw a user by the name "Miyuku-Lover" with a default profile picture.
"Finding this person" I showed her the profile. She nodded and took out her own phone, snapping a photo and tapping on it a couple times.

"They are finding the address now", She stared down at the text. "Oh..." I looked down at my loafers.
"What are you gonna do once you find the address?"
"Mm... Breaking and entering? Kidnapping? Something to get Osano's loved one back." I tried thinking like Ayano would. Ayano would 100% go with the kidnapping option.
I looked back at Ayano, "How... Who is this source..? If you don't mind me asking..."

I walked next to Ayano, down the stairs and down the hall. We walked until she stopped suddenly at a room with curtains. "What?" I asked her, I always assumed this room was out of order. She walked in front of one of the doors and knocked on it, in a specific order. We heard a click and she looked at me with confidence.
She opened the door slowly and I peaked in. The room was pitch black, the only light ever emitting were dozens of screens in front of a person, hidden by the shadows.
"So, you're the famous Ayato Aishi. I've heard not much about you." The person slowly swiveled around in their chair, they appeared to be a red haired girl with red glasses. She was extremely pale, either due to the hue of the very bright screens or the lack of sunshine. "You are a very hard person to get information on."
I didn't try to be. It's just that I never really conversed with anyone at school until this year.

"You will refer to me as Info-Chan, and Info-Chan only" She leaned forward in her chair a little bit. "I don't understand..." It slipped past my brain and I couldn't hush it out before it was too late. Info-Chan looked at me in a surprised manner, "I see..." She mumbled.
Nonetheless, she turned back to face the screens, "Found your Senpai yet?" She clicked and dragged, clicked and dragged. Something boiled in my stomach when she said that. God, I hated that word. "No. I don't think I'm capable..." And I looked up at Ayano, who had a look, one I wasn't familiar with.
"Maybe not. I've never seen a male Aishi who was born with pure blood."
"Ayato." Info-Chan began once again, "Since you have such a rare disability, I won't be able to aid you in your journey emotion-wise. However, I can help you with your rivals." She looked at me similar to Mrs. Yumi And mom. Was she like them too?
