I closed my locker and sped through the hallways.
"Hey! Blaine!" I greeted running up to Blaine in the hallway. He spotted me and smiled.
I crashed into him, smiling happily at my new friend.
"Hey, Taylor." He said, smiling.
"I'm happy that you came today," I told him.
"I promised you that I would" He replied.
"Yeah well I'm glad you're here," I said hugging him. He hugged me back.
Someone cleared their throat and I quickly pulled away.
Jake stood there emotionless.
"This your friend?" He asked pulling me to him slightly.
"Yeah. Um Jake this is Blaine. Blaine this is Jake," I introduced them happily.
"Nice to meet you." Jake said shaking his hand. In a way this felt weird...Like I was introducing my dad to my friend or something.
"Likewise" He said, smiling at him.
"Well, let's get you to class." Jake said pulling me along.
"Wait. Blaine don't you have English with me?" I asked
"Yeah." he answered.
"Walk with us then" I told him. He smiled and walked along side with us to class.
He went in, and I hugged Jake goodbye. Blaine sat in the seat on the opposite side of me.
Blake turned to him in shock, "Oh so you finally decided to show up for once?"
"Yes I did, I made a promise to my new friend here" he said patting me on the shoulder.
Blake looked surprised. "When did this happen?"
"Hm Just know that it happened" Blaine responded.

"So this is where you spend most of your free time?" Blaine asked me as he sat beside me in study hall.
"Yep. This is where I hang," I responded.
"How is your day so far?"
"Fine a I guess," Taylor replied, shrugging, "What are you doing after school, do you want to hang out?"
"Umm...I don't know..you know I would like to but-"
"Jake I know. Hey just meet me behind the school towards the end of 4th period and we can sneak away to the tunnel..okay?"
"I'm not making any promises but okay."
