Carolina."She has no idea about the party, so don't say a word," Carolina warns Stella as they settle into their seats at the front of the plane.
"This is so cool oh my god," Stella practically squeals as she watches the rest of the band board the plane. Carolina and Stevie reconciled a little over a week ago, Stevie pulling her back in as close as she can. She doesn't even pretend to go to her own suite anymore. If the band has noticed they haven't said a word.
"Stella Grace," Carolina commands, "promise you won't spill your guts about her surprise party."
Stella nods and rolls her eyes as she spots Stevie coming up the stairs. "Promise," she mumbles then jumps out of her seat to greet stevie.
Carolina crosses her legs and laughs as she watches her sister practically tackle her girlfriend. Stevie winks at her as she squeezes Stella, then kisses her in the middle of the forehead. "Your rotten sister didn't tell me you were coming!"
"She's letting me come instead of going to the mountains for my senior trip," Stella grins as she holds Stevie by the waist.
"We'll just have to make it extra special, then," Stevie nods at her. She looks past the girl to Carolina again and has to stop herself from crossing the plane to kiss her. "Hi, pretty girl." She raises her eyebrows as Carolina squeezes her thighs together and tucks her hands between them. Usually when she calls her that she has her hands down her pants.
"Hi yourself," Carolina smiles up at her. The last week has been heaven, both of them entirely wrapped up in the other. Stella looks between them as Stevie hangs on to her, recognizing the love struck tone in her sister's voice.
"Well I should get sula situated," Stevie smiles as she releases Stella and adjusts the carrier slung over her shoulder.
"Stevie," Carolina calls for her as she reaches both her hands up in the air. Stevie clicks her tongue against her teeth and shakes her head but she steps between Carolina's feet and bends down to hug her, anyway.
"Is that better, you needy girl?" She asks in her ear as she holds her, happy to be in her arms if only for a moment.
"Yes. I love you," Carolina whispers back as she kisses the side of her face right next to her mouth. She understands now why Carolina was so protective of herself. Now that Stevie has cracked the shell, Carolina is positively soft; overtly romantic and needy for her love.
Stevie pulls back and smiles at her. "Me too," she nods as she steps out of her embrace, "now you two behave up here. Dinner together tonight?"
Carolina looks to Stella to make the decision. She promised her they would do whatever she wanted this week. "Yes," Stella nods excitedly. She told all her friends she was spending her senior trip on tour with her sister and Stevie. Being Carolina's little sister has gotten her major cool points lately. All of classmates are obsessed. Some of them even swear she and Stevie are actually together, watching their duets on a shared mic on repeat trying to analyze how close they are. Carolina can see it in one, where Stevie looks like she might kiss Carolina, but then she pulls back at the last minute.
Carolina settles deeper into her seat and grins as Stevie walks to the back of the plane. "What the hell was that," Stella questions her immediately as she sits back down.
"What?" Carolina smirks and shrugs her shoulders. She and Stevie have already discussed it; she's fine with Stella knowing.
"You kissed her. You told her you love her, I heard you," Stella smacks her in the arm, "are you with Stevie?"
"I mean," Carolina scrunches her face up, "you cannot tell a soul. But.... Yes. I'm dating her."
"I knew it," Stella laughs, "everyone thinks you two are together. You're so obvious on stage it's almost painful to watch."
