"We'll get to it right away." Eren's group one by one got their ODM gear ready on their waists. "Mikasa!" Eren shouted across the room. She was just getting ready to jump, but looked over and walked towards him. Her fine short black hair flying behind her. "Yes?" She asked looking down at him. "Fall back behind them and watch their every movement." Eren said, sitting up on his chair and sliding his pen behind his ear. "We don't need anybody tagging behind, dying and or losing to Levi's group." Mikasa nodded and walked towards the window. A titan ran in front of the window, making no notice into seeing Mikasa staring right at it.
"I'm counting on you, Mikasa." Eren crossed his arms.
"I'm fully aware of that." Mikasa said, "Red streak and you're coming right?" She said making direct eye contact with him.
Eren nodded determinedly, "You can count on me!" Eren got up and put his fist right over his heart. Mikasa did the same, showing know emotion. "Don't die on me." Mikasa pierced the window, breaking it and jumped out.
Eren got up from his chair and glanced down at his hand. He still had the teeth marks..He remembered how hardly he bit himself a long time ago. He bit himself so hard he tore off his skin. Everybody around him watched him disturbingly as he practically ate the side of his hand off clean. He'd probably kept going if it weren't for Mikasa and Armin stopping him.

-flashback-
"Why can't I turn?!" I shouted angrily, biting down on my hand hard. I chomped again. hoping that this time I could transform. It didn't work. I breathed hard, my hand hurt so bad It was as if it were on fire. Blood was dripping down the side of my hand and onto the floor. "Eren..stop." Mikasa stepped forward. "No! Wait let me try.." I bit myself again. It hurt so much I thought I was going to pass out cold. Armin was watching me, horrified. "It has.."
I bit the flesh that was remaining on my hand, "to..work." I looked down at my hand. I felt anger coming up to my throat. Why is it not working? Why is it when I need to to work it doesn't? Why why why why why!? I gnawed on my hand more. Mikasa grabbed my shoulder. "Eren, it's not going to work!" I brushed her aside. "It has to! Everybody is depending on me!" I looks around and saw many horrified faces looking at me. Armin and Jean came over to me. They all looked at me sympathetically, as if I were a cute little abandoned puppy on the street.
