Chapter 2.

Eren sipped his cup of coffee and watched the progress of his friends from his window. It was after a few hours when Jean crashed in through the window behind him. "Eren!" He gasped for breaths, "There's a titan shifter, and It's coming this way!" Eren turned around slowly. "What?" he questioned. Jean collapsed on his knees and continued breathing heavily. "I thought.." Eren looked out the window, watching titans fall one by one. "I can never have a break, can I?" Eren whispered quietly. Jean looked up at him, on one leg and slowly getting up. "Eren, what should we do?" Eren turned around and glared down at his bandaged up hand.

Jean understood Immediately and braced himself to jump out the window again. But he stopped. "Ah..shit shit shit shit!" He said angrily, "I fucking forgot I finished my fuel." Eren speed walked to his desk and crouched down. He got out his own ODM gear and strapped it around himself. It felt heavy, but he didn't care. Eren put on his green scout regiment on and pulled on the hood. "Come. Grab my hand." Eren said, he wrapped his around around Jean and the other hand he jumped out the window and shot his ODM gear into a nearby house roof. He zoomed around titans, dodging them and holding Jean's hand tightly. "We're almost there just don't let go." Eren said, gritted his teeth.

The weight was too much for him to handle any longer. Cautiously he set Jean down at the hideout spot where his teammates could refill their tanks quietly. "Thanks." Jean said awkwardly and made his way into the small house. Just then a loud boom was heard and as Eren feared. A red streak shot up far away into the sky. "Fuck I'm late!" Eren flew up a roof to another. "AH!" Eren shouted, he missed a titan's bite just by an inch. "You..fucker!" Eren pierced the titan's neck and sliced at it. A satisfying stab and the titan was down. Eren ignored the other titans as much as he could. Right now his main priority was to catch up to the others and..

"Eren!" A voice shouted. Eren glanced behind him and retracted his ODM gear back. Eren turned around to face Armin. Armin his hair was wild and covering half of his face. "We got it down. You aught to see it. It's incredible!" Eren looked at Armin confusedly. "Incredible?" Armin nodded. "You were going the wrong way." Armin said and pointed south. "We're all over there." Eren blushed, embarrassed. "I was dropping off Jean at the hideout and it must've thrown me off course.." Armin laughed, smiling Eren followed Armin around corners and loops. "It's just around this-" Armin yelped, horrified and he came face to face to a titan.

It grabbed at him and Armin jumped out of the way, unfortunately he wasn't looking where he was going and smacked into a window. He hit the floor and cried in pain. The titan looked down at Armin, ignoring Eren completely. "Armin!" Eren screamed, as the titan grabbed Armin and squeezed him violently. There was nobody around to help them. Eren watched in terror as the titan raised his hand around Armin to chomp his head off. Eren struggled to free his ODM gear from the roof. It wouldn't retract back and so with no choice Eren bit his hand without thinking.
