Emu gets trapped in the backrooms

As Mizuki wandered to the roof of Kamiyama high school they began to wonder to themselves. Was Rui ok, he's never acted like this before even in his younger years. Thinking more and more just seemed to confuse Mizuki so they push the thought aside. As they pushed open the metal door that led to the roof it let out a sharp squeaking sound. As soon as the door was shut Mizuki let out a breathe of relief that they didn't know they had been holding. As they walked closer to the middle of the roof looking up at the sapphire blue sky, the cool breeze shifting their hair slightly, they heard the door open again. Turning around hoping that it was their purple haired friend they instead saw Rui's friend Nene crying. "Hey are you doing ok?" They ask as it startles Nene from her silence "O-oh sorry I didn't know their was anyone here" As Nene turns around to leave Mizuki grabbed her arm stopping her in her tracks. "Wait what seems to be the problem" Nene turns back around and sits on the floor as Mizuki joins her. "Well do you remember how Emu disappeared" Mizuki nodded their head as Nene continued. "Well I feel like their is more to what happened then what me and the rest of my group know" Mizuki nods understanding. As they continued to discuss the sound of the door once again opening startles them both. They look up to see Tsukasa. He didn't look how he usually did however. His hair was a mess and bags under his eyes told of many sleepless nights. "Tsukasa what happened to you, you look like a mess" Nene says however, it was obvious that she was shocked to see him as he hadn't shown up for a week. He let's out a sigh and as he begins to talk it was obvious how long he had spent crying from how raspy his voice was " I just needed some time but I think I'm feeling better then I did before" Nene nods. Suddenly the bell for afternoon bell goes and the three go there separate ways to their classes.

After the day was over Mizuki begins to head down the stone stairs of the high school.  Suddenly the sound of a voice calling their name makes them stop and turn towards the voice. As they look around they spot Nene. "Huh Nene are you ok?" Nene shakes her head "No but can I talk to you" "Sure but I need to go shopping for more dresses" Nene looks at them as she thinks " If it's fine with you can I come along" "Ah ok, but no promises that I won't take to long"

About an hour later the two had been inside an accessory store as Mizuki looked around for a new accessory to match their new dress. "How about this one" Nene says picking up a lilac bow with a pink frill on the edges " Oh this is great, thank you Nene" And with that Mizuki took it, paid for it and the two made their way out of the store. "Ok so what did you want to talk about" "Well I haven't heard from Rui in a while and since your friends I thought you would know something" "Now that you mention it when I called him the other day he just got really mad and hung up" Nene looks at Mizuki confused as Mizuki continues to talk "However, grief does that to people" Nene nods. " Well I better be off, get home safe" Mizuki says as they begin to walk away "Thank you Mizuki be careful"

"Ok this isn't funny anymore" Emu says. Her hair was a mess from not being washed for a week now and her clothes were becoming dirty with each passing day. Suddenly the sound of growling is heard. "Haha mr bunny are you hungry" she askes but when she looks up and sees the big plushie shake it's head. Panic begins to take Emu as the sound of thuds can be heard from behind the closed door in front of her. Emu is quick to panic when she is suddenly picked up by the cat as it carries her and hides her under a bed. As she hid she heard tearing and pained growls. Suddenly the sound of the thudding footsteps fades into the distance. As she crawled out from under the bed she spots the bunny. It's stuffing was pouring out of it from a gaping hole in the plushies stomach. Emu let's out a gasped shock and runs to the giant bunny. It looks at her and pats her gently on the head before it's paw fell limp and it ceased to move anymore. Tears welled up in Emu's eyes as the cat looked at it's fallen company before looking away and picking up Emu as they went to continue their journey through these long winding halls.
