Chapter 4

Iguro's POV:

After I blacked out I woke up in Tomioka's bed. I heard Uzui in the background then I heard him yell bye I walked out into the living room. "What was that *yawn* all about?" I'm so confused. He asked if he woke me up? Now he's apologizing to me? "Hey Iguro-San would you like to go to that drive in movie that is showing tonight?" I think they are showing scary movies this week. "Aren't they showing scary movies this week?"  "Yes they are, why?" "I- I don't really like scary movies." I hope he doesn't make fun of me for not liking scary movies but I would still love to go with him, I just can't promise that I won't jump during it."That's ok we don't have to go." So he isn't going to make fun of me for it? "No, no it's ok we can go I just can't promise I won't jump a few times." I mean I still want to go."Ok! Thanks!" He seems so excited to go to this movie with me, he must like scary movies. The movie start in about 10-15 minutes we should get going. "Ok well it starts in like 10 minutes we might want to go now." We need to go if we want to make it there on time. "Ok." We left and when we got there there wasn't many people there. "We still have about three minutes.....why don't you go get situated on the bench with our blankets and I'll go get us some popcorn and drinks." "Ok." I grab our blankets and go sit somewhere that there isn't many people sitting and sit in the top bleacher seats. (There is a fence around it so they can't fall out of it just so you know!) I look around at all the people then I spot the person I want to see the least.......Kanroji. She was on the other side with Kocho then she suddenly looks over at me. She just stares at me then says something to Kocho, gets up and then starts walking over to me. I didn't have my head turned toward her so she didn't know I was looking at her because my long hair covered it up. "There you are! I've been looking for you! I wanted to say that I'm sorry, and that I still love you......but I also love someone else." She practically yelled this and I pretended not to hear her hoping she would walk away, but instead she grabbed my bandaged up chin and kissed me where my lips would be through my bandages. I slightly push her off and look over to where Tomioka was. He was still talking to the person at the popcorn stand. I just watch him, hoping for her to go away. I watch as he starts to walk over and he looked around for me. I need to get his attention before she tries to do something again. "Tomioka! I'm over here!" I said while waving my hand slightly. He looks over and he had a slight smile, then he saw Kanroji and is smile even if a little one faded right when he saw her. He walked over set down our popcorn and drinks and pushed her away from me slightly. "Hey! What was that for?!" Why the hell is she yelling at him for?! "He looked uncomfortable with you over here." So he really does care for me. "Fine I didn't want to be over here anyway!" She said in a bratty attitude. "Thanks, she was making me really uncomfortable." "Your welcome, why was she over he-" *over a speaker*, "we unfortunately have to delay the movie for about another 25 minutes, sorry for the inconvenience. We hope that you all understand! We will start it as soon as we can, thanks!" Oh....wow. "Ok, now as I was saying before I was RUDELY interrupted, what was she doing over here anyway?" He acts a little different with me now. "She said sorry and that she still loved me but she also loved someone else, and I ignored her for a minute but then she grabbed my face and kissed me where my mouth would be through my bandages. She made me really uncomfortable." Why did I say it so fast? I feel like I'm going to cry again. "Sorry I took so long, and that she did that to you. Why don't we just get comfortable and then we can talk again." He's really sweet. "Ok." We then get comfortable and I look down to where Kanroji and Kocho is. I felt Tomioka look at me then look to where I was looking. I then look from them then to him and I can feel the anger radiating from him as he gave them a death stare. "Hey Tomioka, what movie is playing tonight anyway?" His expression softened then he looked down and me because me being the short bitch I am he had to do that. "The 1990 IT movie." (Great movie btw, if you haven't seen it you should watch it!) "O- oh ok." This movie has a lot of jump scares in it. (Also I know that Demon Slayer is set in 1912-1926 but this is a more modern type story, not exactly modern as in today but not like the early 2000's) It's now dark, I just hope demons don't come around. I take another look around and I see Shinizugawa and Himejima-San sitting waiting for the movie although he can't see. (Or so you think Iguro-San or so you think. He wasn't there when he got his vision) then I see Shinizugawa look over at us. He says something to Himejima-San then they both get up and start to walk over to us. "Hey you two, y'all never showed back up, how are y'all today?" Wow Shinizugawa being this nice, starting to date Himejima-San must have done him a lot of good. "Hey guys I'm good, what about y'all?" "We are good, although I'm much better now." I'm confused. "What do you mean?" I'm so confused right now what is going on? "Well I can now officially say that you have beautiful eyes Iguro. I can see them now." Wait what? See? "What do you mean?" What the hell is going on?! "Boo, I'm back! Hello!" Omg! "You scared the ever loving shit out of me!" Who even is this? "You can call me Sam! Also I love you two! Iguro-San I love your eyes and the way you like snakes and climb trees, and Tomioka-San I just love you in anyway possible! You two are my favorite!" Ummm. "T-thanks......wait do you like snakes too?!" Do they like snakes?! I love snakes! "Yes! Snakes are beautiful creatures!" "I know right!" I'm glad they like snakes too. "This is the person who gave me my eyesight!" Oh so this is who gave him his eyesight. "I swear i not trying to be rude but what do you go by, like I go by he, and him but what do you go by?" Pleases don't come off as rude! "Oh that's not rude at all! I go bye they, them, she, her, he, him. Well it depends on what I feel like on that certain day and time." (It's called gender-fluid just so you know!) oh ok. "That's cool, •it sounds kinda like what I'm like, some days I feel more feminine and others my normal male self•, so yeah that's something." Why did I tell them that? "What do you feel like today, is it a female or male day today?" "Oh it's male so he, him today, but you can just call me they, them when you don't know what kind of day it is!" "Ok cool." *over the intercom* "The movie will start here in just a few minutes so get comfortable and enjoy, again we are sorry for the inconvenience!" Ok so it's getting ready to start. Himejima-San and Shinizugawa sat down a like three seats down so they could cuddle, which I'm still not used to btw. Then the Sam boy, went down to the bottom and and waited for it to start while me and Tomioka just sat in the same position. Then movie started. There has already been a few jump scares and I've slightly jumped at them, but them one really big jump scare came and I jumped really bad then I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I look up to see Tomioka holding me and then I realized that I was in his lap! My face feels hot, why? I got back in my place. "•sorry•" I hope I didn't just blow my friendship with him. "•it's ok•" phew good I didn't. The movie after the movie was over we got up and started to walk. "Hey gu- whoa!" As we walked I saw the others and then I was pulled away. "Come with me, I know somewhere that's really rom-......pretty at this time of night!" What was he going to say?

Tomioka's POV:

I took him to the movie and told him to go get comfortable while I got the popcorn and drinks. When I got to the counter I ordered them I asked what movie is playing tonight. They told me it is 1990 IT. "So that person you came with, what are they to you? You two seem kinda close." I looked over at him and he was making the popcorn. "I don't know......we just became friends in the last few days but we have known each other for a few years, and I have had a crush on him for a while now, and I just don't know how to tell him." Why did he ask me this? "Well, you should just take him somewhere special and then just speak from your heart." That's good advice. I smiled at him. "Thank you." "Your welcome, what drinks do y'all want?" Oh yeah right. "I want a coke, and do you have sweet tea?" I hope they do I don't know what else he likes. "Yes sir, we do." Phew. "Then also a sweet tea, and make them large." "Ok here you go." "Thanks." "Your welcome." I walk over to the bleachers and look for Iguro-San, and as I'm looking around I hear him call me. "Tomioka! I'm over here!" I look over to where I heard his voice from with a small smile that faded immediately when I saw her. Kanroji. I walked over set our drinks and popcorn down and push her away from him. She got all pissy and walked away with an attitude. After that Shinizugawa-San and Himejima-San came over and then a person named Sam. (I'm to lazy to re-write that whole this so yeah) we where in the middle of watching the movie and he was jumping slightly at the small jump scares then a really big jump scare came and he jumped really bad and he landed in my lap so I wrapped my arms around him. "•sorry•" why is he sorry this is nice. He then slid back over to his place. I kept on looking over at him during the movie but I don't think he noticed. After the movie was over we got up and grabbed our stuff. "Hey gu- whoa!" As he was trying to say hi to them I grabbed his hand and pulled him in the other direction. I'm taking him to my special place."Come with me, I know somewhere that's really rom-......pretty at this time of night!" Omg that was so close, how did I let that slip! "We are here." It's so pretty right here. "Wow, it is really pretty out here." I look over at him. He's looking at the sky and his eyes are sparkling. He is so cute right now! "I've got a surprise for you Iguro-San." I went to the store with Uzui-San before going home and talking to him and I bought use matching hair pins and matching rings. My pin has yellow and green representing his eyes, and a small snake on it representing his love for snakes, and black and white stripes and then a T.G representing my name and his has red, green, and yellow representing my haori, and dark blue representing my eyes with a I.O for his name. The rings have a snake wrapped around a moon. I got his ring size for Uzui-San because he asked Kanroji for it last year because he was thinking of getting him a ring for Christmas but he never did. "Oh what is it?" He looked down at me. "Close your eyes first." "Oh, ok." He closed his eyes and I went into my pocket and grabbed them out. "Ok open." He opened his eyes looked at them then back at me and just stared at me. "I got us matching hair pins and matching promise rings." He looked back down at them. "T- their so pretty!"  "These are yours and these are mine." I handed him his ring. "Come here." "O- ok." He walked over to me and I put the hair pin in his hair. "There you go." "Thanks." "Mhm" the firew- *boom* ahh there it is. He jumped at the sudden loud sound. "Whoa I didn't know that there was fireworks tonight. They are so pretty! Thank for bringing me here!" He is adorable right now. "Your welcome, I have something to tell you." I'm going to do it, I'm going to confess. He looked down at me. "What is it?" "I- I really like y- the fireworks!•yeah the fireworks•." "Oh, ok yeah me too." He looked back up at the fireworks. Damn it! Why can't I just tell him?! The fireworks are long, very long. I looked over at him and pull him in by his waist. I lifted his chin and kissed him where his mouth would be through his bandages. As I realized what I did I quickly let him go. "Omg! I'm so sorry! I don't know what came over me! Please don't be mad at me! Please forgive me!" I don't know what the hell just came over me! "I- it's ok Tomioka. I'm not mad at you. Why on earth would I be mad?" He's being so calm. "O- oh. The thing I was going to tell you earlier wasn't that I liked the fireworks, it was that I like you and I have for a while now, and I get it if you don't feel the same but I want to ask, Iguro Obanai, will you be my boyfriend?"
