Chapter 8

Iguro's POV:

"All we can do now is put a cast on it and wait for it to heal." Kocho said walking to a drawer. When she got over there she grabbed out the cast mold. "I mean we can give you some pain meds to help with the pain when it's bad but this is the most we can do for now." Kocho said as she rummaged through the drawer for something else. "Ok......what are you looking for?" I asked as she was still face first into the drawer. "Ugh the scissors...but I can't seem to find them." She said but the scissors where sitting on the table right next to her. "They are on the table next to you Kocho." I say watching as she looked up and face palmed. "Ara ara thank you Iguro-San. That's embarrassing." She said as she grabbed her things and walked over to me and Yuu. Yuu grabbed my hand and held it then a voice comes in from the hallway. "Shinobu-sama there are people here to see Iguro-sama." Said the girl I think goes by the name Aoi. "Tell them they can see him in a little while. I need to finish some things with them first." Kocho said looking at her. "Yes ma'am." "Thank you Aoi." Kocho said back to Aoi. "You are going to need to sit still for me to put this on you Iguro-San." Kocho said to me. I nodded and she then gave me some pain killers. I took the pain killers and she started with the cast.

—time skip to after Kocho put the cast on Iguro—

"Ok if you are ready for people I can tell them that they can come in but if not then I will tell them not yet." Kocho said as she got up. I look over to Yuu and he says, "it's your decision Oba." I thought about it for a moment then nodded at Kocho. She walks out and then Aoi walks talking. "This is where they are. Only a few people at a time unless he is comfortable with everyone." Yuu then let go of my hand and got off the bed and sat on the chair next to me. "Are you ok Mr. Iguro?" The kid that looks like Rengoku said. "Yeah I'm ok........I'm kinda confused tho." I said looking over to Kanroji and Uzui who had walked in as Rengoku stood outside. "Confused about what Iguro?" Uzui asked. "I.....don't even know this kid......" "ohhhhh yeah. This is Rengoku's little brother Senjuro!" Uzui said. "Ohh ok. Rengoku's you can come in you know that right?" I said looking at Rengoku as he smiles and walks in. "Ok! I just didn't want you to be uncomfortable!" He said looking at me. "CAWW CAWW Senjuro and Kyojuro Rengoku report back to your fathers! CAW!" Rengoku's crow squawked. "Ohh well guess we better get going! Good bye my friends! Come on Senjuro!" Rengoku said walking out as he looked at Uzui. Rengoku smiled a big bright smile and waved to him then him and Senjuro was gone. Uzui smiles a nervous smile and waves back. "•bye•" Uzui whispered back to him but he was already gone. "Ok well I think I should also get going! Byes guys!" Kanroji said and I just waved to her. "Bye Kanroji." Uzui said smiling as she walked out. Then he turned to me and Yuu with a suspicious look. "What secret of mine do you know?" He asked and I just looked over to Yuu then back to him. "I know that you like Rengoku." I said as he looked over to Yuu. "Did you tell him Tomioka?! You said you wouldn't tell anyb-" "He didn't tell me! I found out on my own!" I shout at him so he stops yelling at Yuu. "Is it really that obvious?" "To me yeah because that the way I acted around my crush." I said looking at him. "It is getting worse tho. You can't even be around him without being in a panic. You need to say something to him." "I know but I can't! When I'm around him it's like my mind shuts down." He says looking down. Yuu then speaks up. "As I told you before......you need to tell him. It's not going to ruin anything between y'all. I know it's hard......but you ca-" "ara ara Tomioka have you seen my- oh I'm sorry am i interrupting something?" Kocho said as she walked in. "Yeah a little." Uzui said to her without looking up. "Oh I'm sorry." "If your looking for you butterfly clip......it over there on the table." Yuu said to her she then walked over to it. "Again I'm sorry but thanks." She says as she walks back out closing the door behind her. " as I was saying....you can do it. Just believe in yourself." Yuu says looking at him. "B- but what is it does ruin someth-" "stop no. No doubting yourself." I say back. He then looks up at us and starts balling his eyes out. "Hey wait don't cry!" "I- I don't know w- what to do! H- he's just so p- perfect!" He said through his sobs. "It's ok. You don't have to cry about it. Wait....do your wives kno-" "shhhh. •I heard a knock.•" "Friends I am back! May I come in?" Rengoku said from outside the door. I look at Uzui and he was asking his head no. "Yeah you can come in." I say back. He walks in with a big smile on his face that quickly shifts into a frown when he sees Uzui. "Uzui what wrong?" He said as he walked over to the still crying Uzui. Uzui kept his head down low and didn't look at Rengoku. (I'm changing it to 3rd person pov)

3rd person pov:

Iguro and Tomioka just looked at them then they looked at eachother. Rengoku then looked at Iguro and Tomioka as a way of saying what happened and they just point to him. Rengoku is confused by this and looks back at Uzui. "Uzui what's wrong?" Rengoku said again hoping that Uzui will respond this time. Uzui again just stayed quiet. "Uzui....talk to him." Tomioka said as he looked at Rengoku. Uzui slightly looked up at Tomioka and Iguro then back down as he got up. As he was walking away Rengoku grabbed his arm. "I'm not saying that you have to tell me what's bothering you if you aren't ready or don't want to but, at least let out all of your emotions." Rengoku says softly as he pulled Uzui down toward him. Uzui looks at Rengoku then at the door. "Ara ara how are things going in he-....oh." Kocho said as she walked in. "Can we get a small room or something to talk?" Rengoku asked Kocho still holding on to Uzui's arm. "Yeah totally. If y'all follow me then I can give y'all a room." Kocho said as she started to walk away.
