Since you are only allowed to participate in one language (as I only found out later), I did not submit this story as I had initially planned.
But I still want to translate it and share it here with many other curious readers.

As part of the contest, various writing proposals were put forward for selection, one of which must be incorporated into a short novella with a scope of between 20,000 and 40,000 words. The writing phase lasts three months and is accompanied by important milestones.
The writing suggestion used here is:
"One night you wake up from the dead. For you it feels like only a few seconds have passed, for the rest of the world almost a century has passed. How will you find your way in this new world?"
