Bumblebee found himself in an empty void. It was dark, stars barely visible to his optics. His audials rang painfully, and he emitted a groan. As sound returned to him, he could hear what sounded like an argument. A very one-sided one, the lone voice sounded familiar and with a shake in their vocalizer.

Bumblebee groaned again, trying to look around. The first thing he saw was a golden glow, forcing him to squint in the bright light. It was far away. A voice suddenly boomed, and he flinched.

"SILENCE, YOU FOOL!" Someone snarled, "YOU DARE BETRAY ME AND YOUR HERALDS TO SAVE THE SMALL ONE, AND YOU SHOUT AT ME? YOU PATHETIC, INSOLENT, SORRY EXCUSE OF A LIVING BEING."

The glow didn't die down, but Bumblebee's optics adjusted enough for him to see that someone floated before the golden light. After a few moments, his optics widened, recognizing who it was that floated before the light.

"What do you want with Bumblebee? Why do you need him?" They snapped, fear in their vocalizer.

The being didn't respond. The yellow bot finally found his voice.

"Starscream?"

His voice echoed through the void. Starscream turned, optics widening upon seeing his friend was floating among them.

"Bumblebee?" Starscream called back.

"MY, MY." The being suddenly spoke, "THE SMALL ONE JOINS US."

The flier turned back around to face the light.

"Don't get him involved! H-he has no right to be here!" He yelled.

The being was quiet. Then, there was an echoing clank, and the light started being obstructed by triangle-shaped objects. Starscream whipped back around to face Bumblebee, fear in his optics. The yellow bot knew he was reflecting the fearful expression. Then, everything went pitch-black.

"Starscream?" Bumblebee yelled, desperation in his vocalizer, "Starscream, are you here?"

All that responded was his echoing voice. Suddenly, the booming voice returned. It was soft, as if whispering to him.

"BUMBLEBEE..."

It was right behind him. It sent shivers down his backstrut, and he refused to move.

"Don't listen to him."

"Starscream?" Bumblebee called.

He gained no response.

"BUMBLEBEE..."

"Why are you here?" The yellow bot snapped.

"Bumblebee, don't listen to him."

"YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT I WANT, LITTLE ONE."

"What do you want?" Bumblebee asked.

"Listen to my voice."

"I WANT... WHAT IS INSIDE YOUR HELM. THE INFORMATION YOU POSSESS."

The beat of Bumblebee's Spark felt as if it was about to explode, and he tried to keep his breathing steady.

"It's okay. I'm here. Just listen to me."

The yellow bot tried. He really tried, but Unicron's voice was too loud.

"STARSCREAM IS A FOOL TO THINK HE CAN PROTECT YOU."

The Uncreator laughed, and Bumblebee merely glared into the void.
