You sat on the sofa, cross legged looking around the empty apartment, Alex and George had been gone for a while considering they decided to have a "Boys day" as they worded it, you didn't mind, though the peace is long over due. A high-pitched ding filled her ears as the girl picked up her phone. James had sent a message to the Eboys group chat asking if anyone wanted to go to a house party with him George replied saying him and Alex are out and will didn't reply, just leaving y/n. Having nothing better to do she replied with a simple "I will" and with that James called her around 2 minutes later.

"hey y/n!" James said in a cheerful tone, making her stomach drop in delight. "Hey James how are you?" she replied matching his energy. "I'm doing good, thanks" he cleared his throat. "would you like to get dressed at mine or stay there, I thought we could talk and have some pre drinks?" y/ns face heated up. "I'll come yours if that's okay, ill be there in around 20?" the girl smiled the enthusiasm never leaving her tone "okay! I'll see you there!"

As the line cut dead y/n couldn't help but smile as she packed her outfit along with a bottle of vodka, cranberry juice, her makeup bag, and a cream coloured purse. To be honest James had caught her eye properly when all 5 of them last went out.

y/n was squeezed between him and the booth wall as they drank and laughed, James was bobbing his leg against y/ns thigh without noticing, it had been driving y/n crazy all night so when she had one to many shots she lay her head on his shoulder and cuddled up to him slightly a soft smile playing her lips, as his hand rubbed circles around her thigh. If this happened without the alcohol she would of literally melted. After a couple minutes she started fiddling with the sleeves of his hoodie before drifting off into a somewhat peaceful sleep.

opening her eyes of the feel of movement the girl was surprised to see a familiar tall man holding her close to him as the cold air hit her face.

She woke up with a bad hangover and a glass of water and Xannax next to her bed while drowning in James' scent, he gave her his  hoodie.

In the back of the girls head he was just being kind, as friends do, but was she touch starved? Absolutely. Little did she know, in James' eyes he was ecstatic she ended up being so close to him but she was way out of his league, with her eyes, smile, laugh, her hair, her little piercing that's slotted in her nose, the small tattoos peppered all around he body and with one going from her knee to her ass, which consisted of smiley faces, stars, constellations and music notes. How she smiled and looked at the ground when she got complimented or the way she would bite her tongue while practising her electric keyboard, to him she was perfect but he couldn't share those emotions. why?

Knocking onto James' door y/n had small amount of folded clothes and some other things accompanied by a bright smile worn by the girl. As James opened the door he grinned and pulled her into a tight bear hug, cologne filling y/ns nostrils as James pulled away y/n lingered, only for a second.

"James!" she said happily "I bought vodka!" she smiled proudly. James smiled back "great! The party starts at 10 so I was thinking arrive at 11 slightly pissed, and leave some time in the morning, good for you?" "of course!" She laughed at his wording. walking into the bedroom with James she let herself ask him a question. "I have an idea, its okay if you say no but I don't really think we will be matching so could we paint our nails?" she asked looking away from him slightly. Taking his silence as a no so she continued to babble, "It's totally okay if no i was just wondering.. just a stupid question really pretend I never asked" she began to get quieter and mumble towards the end of her speedy talk.
