"HEY! HEY! Stop pulling me!" Confused Irie. Ocatavia then stop pulling after they arrive at the horror section. "Do you know who that is?" Said Octavia. "So what if we don't know her?" Said Vera. "Yeah! They were the one who start it first!" Continued Yuka. "That was her Highness Princess Calliope Dhara Scarlett from house Scarlett the side royal family and the future Emperor of our Country. "Emperor? Not Empress?" Asked Yuka. "Huh? Why not Empress, was the title not powerful enough?" Asked Vera. "Why is it her.. out of all people.. she has to be their leader? Such a good title and position yet she hangout around those type of people!" Said Irie. "You know her? Why did you do that earlier if you know her?" Ask Thalia. "I only know the title and their history.. didn't expect her to be here too-" Said irie. "HOW CAN YOU KNOW THEIR HISTORY!?" Shouted the four of them. "SHHH!!! Of course I know. I'm the successor of house Kindra! I have all of your information too, you know".
The four of them were too stunned to speak, they forgot who Irie was for a while.. Well, House Kindra was well known as the assassin family. They have a lot of guild around the continent in a form of bar, restaurant, jewelry shop and flower shop. "No wonder..." Said the four of them.
"So... what exactly is the history of the side royal family?" Asked Vera.
"Well... Not what I expected you to say, but it all start when the Emperor from over 10 generation ago, who has a brother but different mother" Said Irie.
"So it was like a Step-Brother and a Step-Mother?" Interrupted Vera.
"Yeah.. You could say that..? Anyway, The emperor's name was Cicero Icarus Zale and his brother was Sander Stavros Scarlett" Said Irie.
"Wait.. wait.. Are they enemy? Why do they have two different family name?" Asked Yuka.
"Well... It's because the Grand Emperor married to another woman from house Scarlett and give a royal title to the family because of their greatest achievement. But, rumors said that the Grand Emperor actually in love with the Lady from house Scarlett before he got married and have a child before it too! But the rumor was true!!! Because.. according to house Scarlett history.. Emperor Cicero Icarus Zale called Prince Sander Stavros Scarlett his older brother!" Said Irie.
"So.. What exactly is their greatest achievement?" Asked Thalia.
"Uh... Well.. The Lady from house Scarlett once goes to the war and became the first woman in history to lead the royal troops into champion! She leads in every single war and fights alongside the Grand Emperor and wins in every war they fights! Even the Grand Empress can't do that.." Said Irie.
"Was the Lady and the Grand Empress get along?" Asked Octavia.
"Actually, they did! The Lady from house Scarlett was very friendly, she has a charming and positive characteristic while the Grand Empress is well known as the most generous lady and a soft hearted person. The Lady from house Scarlett always protected the Grand Empress and the Grand Empress always treated the Lady like an older sister of her because she always wanted one but her older sister never treated her nicely. Even their sons get along like a brother who can't separated from each other" Said Irie.
"What a sweet story... Does the Grand Emperor treated them equally?" Asked Yuka.
"He did, but the Lady from the house Scarlett doesn't want to be the Empress and ask the Grand Emperor a favor" Said Irie.
"What? Didn't you say he treated them equally? Why did he asked her to be the Empress?" Asked Vera.
"It's not just the Grand Emperor who asked it, but the Grand Empress also wanted the Lady to became the Empress" Said Irie.
"How about the favor?" Asked Thalia.
"Oh, yeah- The favor.. Well, the Lady asked the Grand Emperor to give her family title as the side royal family who would help the main family to rule the kingdom if the main family doesn't have or can't have or still don't have any heir for the throne but.. if the heir was too young, the side family would also help rule the kingdom for the time being. The child would be chosen according to their highest score on every academic that were given. The child would not be force to do that, if they want to do something else, they can choose every path they wanted but Lady Calliope is different. She wants to learn everything, knows everything and do everything since she was 7 years old. I don't know what's wrong with her but the current emperor wants her to be the next ruler. and she just accepted it. But i found this mysterious information about her 5 years ago... It was said that she has an older sister that she always meet every Friday at a nighttime. See? I told you. I don't know what happened to her back then when her older sister went missing that she went crazy and start to do all the things she needs to do. She always learn, and study all day and night, following her scheduled everyday without doing something else other than things on her list. Sounds scary isn't it.. she's like a living puppet after the incident of her lost sister..." Said Irie.
"She must be sad.. that's why she do all that thing to get rid of her sadness.. but it also bad for her health.." Said Octavia.
"According to the family history.. she only sicks once a month every Friday.. It's like a curse.. Her sickness makes her have a high fever and her body went paralyzed she can only speaks and turned her head, she can't do anything else other than that. Her family have bought every most talented physician around the continent they even went across the sea to find another talented physician to cure her illness. But nothing happened, nothing can cure her.. they once bought her to a witch and the witch said... 'It's a curse.. A Separation Curse...' Her parents asked her has she ever separated with a witch before... She said 'No.. No! She's not a Witch!' then she fainted and went into coma for 1 week" Said Irie.
"Woah.. she has a real curse... " Said Vera.
"Poor her.. she must have been too sad that she went into coma for 1 week..." Said Octavia.
"Elle, why did you pity her..?" Asked Thalia.
"Because she feels lonely.." Said Octavia.
"I can feel that she's feel it too.." Said Yuka.
"It still doesn't change my impression at her-" Said Vera.
"Right... let's slide it aside for now.. the next time we see her, let's just think that she doesn't mean it, and it's the other two lady's fault, all right?" Said Irie. No one answering her, but then Octavia change the topic.
"Who asked if there's a horror section here? We're here!" Then the other four of them look at the section. "We're really here..!" Said Vera. "Come on! Let's light up the mood, Shall we..?" Said Octavia. They all then pick a book from the same section and read it to each other while waiting for their turn to tell the story that they pick.
