Chapter 3 - When he thinks about you

A/N: sorry I haven't posted in a while. It's because of my parents grounding me from my phone.

Leo's POV

I came into the sewers and started walking back home, and I just can't stop thinking about that girl.

'YN'

When she smiled it was kinda cute and I liked it, and I was even surprised that she didn't even scream or runaway or anything like that.

When I got back, no one was even up in their usual spots which was surprising. And heck, Mikey's not even watching his favorite show "Crognard".

'They must've went to bed early again.'

I thought.

I headed straight to my room closed my door quietly and started to meditate on my bed.

*TIME SKIP*

I can't meditate.

Every time I try to meditate, the girl keeps popping up into my head.

I start to lay down on my bed starring into the ceiling until I dozed off.

*Morning*

My alarm started to go off on my T-phone, and I put it on snooze one last time.

When I checked my clock on my T-phone, my eyes widened.

"12 in the afternoon?!" I said panicked.

Training started 3 hours ago and we had 4 hours of training every day.

I grabbed my swords, sheathed them in, and headed out my room into the dojo which I heard grunting coming from.

When I came into the dojo, splinter was teaching 3 of my brothers on how to not underestimate your enemy by attacking Splinter.

That didn't go well because they kept getting beat up one by one. Raph just kept attacking and Splinter keeps telling Raph that while attacking, do not just go and do it, think before you do it.

He finally knocked Raph down and started to notice me.

"Leonardo, nice for you to come join us." Splinter said walking to me.

The others looked at me and walked to me too.

"I'm sorry Sensei, I didn't mean to oversleep. I just watched a lot of Space heroes in my room, and in the morning I hit the snooze button a lot on my alarm." I said trying to sound convincing. It would make sense because I was tired.

"It's fine. But next time, don't press that button on your alarm." He said.

Thank God he bought it.

"Hai Sensei." I said bowing and joining the others.

"Hey fearless." Raph teased smirking.

"What do you want Raph?" I asked annoyed sitting down.

"Nothin'. " He smirked.

"Now Raphael and Leonardo." Splinter began. "Spar with one another, and Raphael, do not let anger fury you. It gets in the way." He said looking at Raph.

"Hai Sensei." Raph said with him and I standing up.

We went in the middle of the dojo taking our fighting stances and taking our weapons out.

Raph smirked the entire time.

"Hajime!" Splinter said.

Raph ran toward me trying to get me with his Said, but I dodged it just in time.

We both took out both of our weapons and they clashed together both of us struggling and grunting. He sent my sword flying into the air. I just looked up distracted and the next thing I knew, Raph came up running to me and he knocked my down to the ground pinning me.

"Yame!" Splinter said and then helping me up.

"That was easier than I thought." Raph said putting his hands around his hips.

"Enough Raphael." Splinter said.

"Sorry Sensei I was just sayin'. " Raph said.

"You are all dismissed." Splinter said.

As I was about to walk out, Splinter called my name.

"Leonardo." He said his back faced against me, and then turned to face me.

"Yes Sensei." I said nervously.

"I would like to speak to you please." He said.

"What is it Sensei." I asked.

"You've been off when you trained with Raphael today. And you woke up late." He said.

"Tell me why you were distracted today and why you woke up late. I sense that you have something to tell." He said putting a hand on my shoulder.

Shoot, he knows. There's not hiding this now.

"Well Sensei. The truth is that I was out on the rooftop at night and I heard a scream." I said.

"Go on." He said.

"Well I went to investigate it and I saw a girl being attacked by the Purple Dragons. And when Fong was about to stab her, I pulled him into the shadows, fought him, and to my surprise, the girl never screamed or ran away when she wanted to see me." I said.

"Hmm..." Splinter said stroking his beard.

"Perhaps I would like to meet her. What's her name?" He said.

"YN." I said.

"I would like you to bring her here and show her. And I assume she won't tell anyone of our existence?" He said.

"I'm positive that she won't tell." I answered.

"Ok. You can be dismissed now." He said.

When I walked out of the dojo, I was thinking of how to tell her to come here.

My thoughts were interrupted when Raph came up to me.

"Hey fearless, where are you going?" He asked.

"Still mad I beat you?" He teased.

"Whatever Raph, I'm going to my room to meditate."

"Don't even make excuses, I know what you and Splinter have been talking about." He smirked.

"Like what?" I asked annoyed.

"Of how you met a girl and you saved her from the Purple Dragons." He said crossing his arms.

"Why do you have to eavesdrop a lot?" I asked annoyed.

" 'Cause sometimes I wanna." He said.

"So are you gonna bring her here later or what?" He said playfully nudging my shoulder.

"I will. I just have to figure out what time I should go instead of nighttime." I said smiling a bit.

"Aw, does fearless have a crush now?" He teased.

He knows.

"Maybe but you can't tell the others about this. I want it to be a surprise." I said.

He sighed.

"Fine but this is the only time I'll keep my promise." He said.

"Thank you." I said heading to my room.

'I'll just have to hide having a crush on her when I see her tonight.'
