Later at the cafeteria...
Seth and I walked into the cafeteria and sat at the table where Nathan was sitting.
Nathan: “Oh! Hey, guys!”
Seth: “Hey, Nathan! Uhm… you’re the investigator of the serial killer, right?”
Nathan: “That’s me!”
Nathan then noticed Seth was holding Hillary’s scarf.
Nathan: “Wait a second, Seth. Is that… Is that Hillary’s scarf?”
“Uhm… yes.”
Seth replied timidly.“Enough about it.”
Nathan sighed.
“Jen, I bought you some yogurt.”Nathan handed me a strawberry yogurt.
Jen: “Thanks, Nathan.”
Nathan: “No need to thank me. That’s what boyfriends do.”
Nathan winked as Seth suddenly got the urge to run to the bathroom and handed Hillary’s white scarf to Nathan.
Seth: “Nathan, hold on to this scarf! I need to take a piss!”
Seth looked around to search for the bathroom.
Seth: “Now where’s the bathroom at this place?”
He found one at the front of his eye and then sped to the bathroom, trying not to piss himself.
Nathan: “He is so funny.”
Jen: “Sometimes. I hope he doesn’t take too long. That’s for sure.”
One minute later…
Seth walked out of the bathroom for a drink.
Seth: “Okay, now I’m thirsty again.”
He then saw the water fountain to his left, but when he peeked at the bottom, he noticed this water fountain was filled and had no faucet.
Seth: “Hey… why is it missing the faucet?’
Ashton walked up behind him as Seth turned around.
Seth: “Okay, I know what you’re doing, but please leave me alone-”
Ashton pulled Seth’s head into the fountain, drowning him, causing him to suffocate as the water filled his lungs, and couldn’t lift his head because Ashton’s grip was too strong. Ashton released his hand after Seth took a last breath and died.
Meanwhile…
Jen: “It’s been two minutes and Seth still hasn’t arrived yet.”
Nathan: “If you’re saying he is taking forever, I should really check up on him.”
Jen: “Only for safety, okay? Remember.”
Nathan: “Yes, yes, I’ll remember that, Jen. No need to tell me that so many times.”
Nathan walked up to the restroom to find Seth.
Nathan: “Seth, where are you-”
He even saw the water fountain, but Seth’s body lay dead there.
“S-Seth?!...”
He startled.
“Don’t worry, Seth. I’ll get you out of here.”He pulled Seth out of the fountain and tried to revive him by feeding him his oxygen, but it was too late. He couldn’t find a pulse as tears ran down his cheeks.
Jen: “Seth, you are taking forever! Nathan?”
I walked in the hallway toward the fountain where Nathan and Seth were located.
Nathan: “Jen, we’re too late…”
Jen: “Don’t tell me he’s…”
Nathan: “Dead.”
Jen: “Wait a second, let me try to revive him.”
I walked up to Seth and tried to revive him the same way Nathan did until two minutes later, I couldn’t find Seth’s pulse either.
Jen: “Nathan, you are right. He is dead.”
I then faced the water fountain where Seth drowned. I promised Nathan that I’ll stay by his side and report the school homicide to the counselor. I then stared to Nathan’s tears.
Jen: “I know. You and Seth were very close. I do know you very much, Nathan, and Seth. I do know a lot about my friends, and you are one of them. That’s right. You’re my only friend, but my boyfriend. You’re the only one I have left. I’ll help you get through the investigation as well.”
Nathan: “*snuffle* Thanks, Jen…”
Jen: “No problem.”
I embraced him to comfort him and then dried his tears.
